Ionizing radiation (ionizing radiation) refers to radiation with high enough energy to dissociate electrons in atoms or molecules, that is, ionization. Ionizing radiation usually includes high-energy subatomic particles and ions, high-speed moving atoms (usually greater than 1% light speed) and high-energy electromagnetic waves. The high-energy parts of γ-rays, X-rays and ultraviolet rays belong to ionizing radiation.
Article 10 of the Law of People's Republic of China (PRC) on Work Safety: The emergency management department of the State Council shall implement comprehensive supervision and management of work safety throughout the country in accordance with this Law: The emergency management departments of local people's governments at or above the county level shall, in accordance with this law, implement comprehensive supervision and management of production safety within their respective administrative areas.
The State Council transportation, housing and urban and rural construction, water conservancy, civil aviation and other relevant departments shall, in accordance with the provisions of this law and other relevant laws and administrative regulations, supervise and manage production safety in related industries and fields within their respective functions and duties; The relevant departments of the local people's governments at or above the county level shall, in accordance with the provisions of this law and other relevant laws and regulations, supervise and manage the work safety in related industries and fields within their respective functions and duties. If the responsibilities of safety production supervision and management in emerging industries and fields are not clear, the local people's governments at or above the county level shall determine the supervision and management departments according to the principle of similar business.
Emergency management departments and departments that supervise and manage production safety in related industries and fields are collectively referred to as departments responsible for supervision and management of production safety. Departments responsible for the supervision and administration of production safety shall cooperate with each other, make concerted efforts, share information, make use of resources, and strengthen the supervision and administration of production safety according to law.
