In order to implement the spirit of "Opinions on Deepening the Integration of Physical Education and Promoting the Healthy Development of Teenagers", improve the skill level of cheerleading in Rugao City, promote the popularization and promotion of cheerleading on campus, enrich the content of sports activities in the big recess on campus, and help students enjoy the fun in physical exercise, enhance their physique, improve their personality and exercise their will. On the morning of September 26th, 2020, Rugao cheerleading coach training started in Rugao Olympic Sports Center. Party Secretary of Rugao Culture, Sports, Radio, Film and Television Tourism Bureau attended the event and announced the official start of the training activities.
This training is jointly sponsored by Rugao Culture, Sports, Radio, Film and Television Tourism Bureau and Rugao Education Bureau, and undertaken by Rugao Sports Center. A total of 130 full-time teachers from towns (districts, streets), kindergartens and primary schools directly under the municipal government, central kindergartens and primary schools in towns (districts, streets) and schools and kindergartens with cheerleading activities signed up for this training.
The training class specially invited national cheerleading silver medal coaches and national cheerleading referees, Zhang Weiping and Gu Min, Zhu Huibin, Xu Peiyun and Gu Dongyi from Nantong Normal University. The training teacher gives lectures on the teaching of flower ball cheerleading, street dance cheerleading demonstration routines, team culture construction and daily training methods in primary schools and children's groups. After a day of intense and orderly study, the participating teachers completed the relevant courses and passed the examination and acceptance. They brought their learning results back to their usual work and showed their talents for the development of Rugao cheerleading.
