When we enjoy the infinite space brought by computers and networks, we unconsciously pay the price of health. Facing the computer for more than three hours every day will have great influence on eyes, arms, shoulders, cervical vertebrae, lumbar vertebrae, skin and hair.
First of all, the eyes
After using the computer, time flies. People often sit in front of the computer for hours. Staring at the computer for several hours every day makes the eyes bear unprecedented burdens: dry eyes, sore eyes, blurred feelings, inability to see clearly, frequent drowsiness and so on. In addition, the radiation in the display screen seriously damages people's vision. These rays affect the lens and cornea, causing edema and pain of the eyeball. Cornea is the place where human nerves are concentrated. Once damaged, you will feel sharp pain in your eyes and even make people fidget. When people use the computer, they often keep their eyes fixed, and the number of blinks decreases, which affects the secretion of tears, resulting in less and less water in their eyes, which is easy to induce dry eye syndrome. In addition, long-term close work and excessive use of eye muscles can cause visual fatigue and exotropia.
In order to keep your eyes alive in the computer age, I suggest you protect your eyes from the following aspects:
1. Keep a certain working distance from the computer. 14 inch display should be 60 cm away, and 15 and 17 inch display should be 70 cm away. The top of the display screen should be lower than the line of sight 10- 15 degrees.
2. Look at the distance for about 10 minutes every working time to relieve visual fatigue and do eye exercises.
3. Strengthen eye moisturizing and keep indoor humidity. You can also use products such as eye drops.
4. Take vitamin B2 and vitamin C in moderation, and eat more corn and fruits.
Second, the spine and arms.
Using the computer for a long time will do harm to the spine and arms. Nowadays, many patients use computers for too long, which leads to disc herniation and spinal deformation. Because you must keep a continuous sitting posture when operating the computer, your arms always keep an upward posture. This requires the muscles to maintain a continuous contraction state. Muscle tension for a long time, reduced blood flow, insufficient oxygen supply, accumulation of metabolites, leading to muscle discomfort, pain and other symptoms. If it is not improved in time and the disease progresses, muscle stiffness and spasm will occur.
Neck and waist strain: First of all, the use of computers greatly increased the incidence of low back pain. Long-term tension in the neck and waist and increased disc pressure will cause chronic pain, stiffness and disc herniation in the neck and waist, as well as leg pain, numbness and weakness. In fact, as long as you pay more attention in your daily work and take preventive measures at the initial stage of symptoms, the appearance or deterioration of these symptoms can be completely avoided: adjust the height of computer desks and chairs to suit your body, and never hunch over to operate the computer. Take time out to do some exercise, stand up and walk for a while, or move your head and arms a few times in your seat.
Arm strain: the arm feels uncomfortable and painful after strenuous exercise at first, and gradually the pain is unbearable even if the arm is inactive. Finally, if serious diseases such as carpal tunnel syndrome and tenosynovitis of radial styloid process are caused, it will be difficult to cure.
Control working hours. Work 1 hour, must rest or do other work 10 minute, and operate the computer for no more than 4-6 hours every day.
Third, the skin
Although the computer is not in direct contact with our skin, it affects our skin unconsciously.
Now some people are "hooked" into computers and often "swim" into the night without eating or sleeping. Some white-collar workers face work pressure and work overtime in front of the computer day and night. Problems such as premature aging and wrinkles follow. We should ensure a balanced diet in our life. Appropriate supplements of vitamin A, vitamin C and vitamin E, appropriate holidays for the skin, two days off every week, and don't stay in front of the computer every day.
Although the radiation generated by computer screen is very small, it will be received by unprotected skin in front of the screen over time, and the skin is prone to pigmentation. So protective products, such as cream, foundation and so on. , should be painted on the computer; Use low-emission monitors and hosts.
Hair, like skin, is composed of keratinocytes. Skin damage, hair is not spared, easy to lose hair, broken hair, dry hair. The solution is to massage the scalp and wash your hair with shampoo products containing moisturizing ingredients.
Always staring at the computer screen, the skin around the eyes will appear slack, crow's feet, bags under the eyes and dark circles. Pay attention to eye rest. It is best to rest every hour 10 minute and do eye exercises twice a day.
