The du meridian starts from the lower abdomen, descends from the perineum, goes up in the middle and back of the spine, goes to the upper neck and back wind house, enters the brain, goes up to the top, goes along the forehead to the nasal column, and ends at the intersection of the upper lip and gums (see Figure 2-69). There are 29 acupoints on the Du meridian, which are mainly used to treat mental illness, fever, lumbosacral and dorsal diseases and corresponding visceral diseases.
1. Changqiang point (GV 1) Du meridian
Position the kneeling position or chest and knee position at the midpoint of the connecting line between the coccyx tip and anus (see Figure 2-70).
Indications ① Diarrhea, dysentery, bloody stool, constipation, hemorrhoids and proctoptosis; ② Epilepsy, furuncle and carbuncle, and strong spine.
Experience 0.8 1 inch oblique thorn near the front of coccyx; It is not advisable to stab directly to avoid hurting the rectum. Changqiang point is mainly used to treat hemorrhoids. I seldom use it, but children can massage or moxibustion when they have diarrhea. Epilepsy can be treated by acupuncture or catgut embedding at Changqiang point. In short, because of its special position, it is rarely used in clinic. I have also used it to treat coccygeal pain and achieved good results. Acupuncture at Changqiang point is oblique, and there is slight swelling locally after getting angry. Generally speaking, coccygeal pain is treated directly on the bone surface. In July this year, a friend asked me to help see a patient with a broken coccyx. Generally, coccyx fracture is not treated, but it can be cured slowly, only part of coccyx fracture is displaced. Generally, there are two methods of displacement. One is that the fractured end folds inward, which affects the rectum, and the other is that the fractured end folds outward and directly pushes against the epidermis. Both methods will make the patient unable to sit normally. The latter is better and can be reset manually. The former is difficult to reset and may require surgery. But in Qigong, Changqiang point is a very important point, because it is the first point of Du meridian. We say that after running for several weeks, the Qi of Ren meridian is bound to communicate with the Qi of Du meridian, or that when the Qi of Ren meridian runs to Du meridian, Changqiang point is the first checkpoint that must be passed.
2. Shu Yao (GZ 2)
Find the right sacral canal hiatus (see Figure 2-70).
Indications ① Diarrhea, dysentery, bloody stool, constipation, hemorrhoids and proctoptosis; ② Irregular menstruation and amenorrhea; ③ Severe lumbar pain and paralysis of lower limbs.
Experience an upward diagonal stab of 0.5 1 inch. We don't usually use Shu Yao points. We introduce it here because it is necessary to inject sacral canal from this place, which belongs to the category of western medicine. However, after all, the most common disease in acupuncture department is lumbar disc herniation. When there is inflammation in the spinal canal, sometimes we will inject it into the sacral canal, and Shu Yao is located at the fissure of the sacral canal, so we need to know its location. What needs to be reminded here is that sacral canal injection has its indications: it is mainly used for intraspinal inflammation in the lumbosacral region. The effect on waist 45 is not ideal, and the effect on extraspinal inflammation is not very good.
3. Yaoyangguan (Lingtai 3)
Located on the posterior median line, at the depression under the spinous process of the fourth lumbar vertebra; Approximately flush with the iliac crest (see Figure 2-70).
Indications ① lumbosacral pain and paralysis of lower limbs; ② Irregular menstruation, red and white secretion; ③ nocturnal emission, impotence.
Experience an upward diagonal stab of 0.5 1 inch. Use moxibustion more. Waist-yang Pass is one of the important body surface signs, just flush with iliac crest, which is where we usually wear our belts. Therefore, it is often through the waist and yang meridians to locate various acupoints on the back. Many people may mistakenly think that Shenshu and Mingmen are the thinnest points in the waist, but they are not. The thinnest position is Yaoyangguan and its adjacent big camphor tree. Therefore, Ashi points with low back pain are mostly located near Dachangshu and Yaoyangguan, not Shenshu, because no matter lumbar disc herniation or lumbar muscle strain, the most common points are located at Lumbar 3, Lumbar 4, Lumbar 5 and sacrum 1. Because of this, when we treat lumbar muscle strain or lumbar disc herniation, the acupoints that we often acupuncture or massage are actually Qihai Shu, Da Shu Chang and Guanyuan Shu, not Shenshu.
4. Mingmen (Lingtai 4)
Locate the posterior midline at the depression below the spinous process of the second lumbar vertebra (see Figure 2-70).
Indications ① Severe pain in back and spine, weakness and paralysis of lower limbs; ② Irregular menstruation, leucorrhea with reddish discharge, dysmenorrhea, amenorrhea and infertility; (3) nocturnal emission, impotence, cold semen infertility and frequent urination; ④ Abdominal cold pain and diarrhea.
Experience an upward diagonal stab of 0.5 1 inch. Use moxibustion more. There is no doubt that Mingmen point is the root of yang of the whole body. I remember listening to a lecture in college, which was given by teacher Yan Li. He said that if the fire of the gate of life does not go out, this person can survive, and if it fails, this life will not last long. However, in fact, we rarely prick the door when we prick the needle. Mingmen is mostly used for health care. Moxibustion at Mingmen is the best way to tonify kidney yang, and all cold diseases can be treated by moxibustion at Mingmen. In the season when Yin and Yang meet, such as vernal equinox, autumnal equinox, winter solstice and summer solstice, it is the best time to carry out moxibustion. When we were in college, in these four seasons, especially on the solstice of winter, we walked in the corridor of boys' dormitory, and every dormitory door could smell the smell of wormwood. When we opened the door, it was all smoke and moxibustion. Du meridian is all Yang meridian, and Mingmen is the root of Yang meridian.
5. Tendon contraction (GV 8)
Locate the posterior midline of the suboccipital depression of the ninth thoracic vertebra (see Figure 2-70).
Indications ① epilepsy; ② Convulsion, strong spine, backache, weakness of limbs and muscle contracture; ③ Stomach ache and jaundice.
Experience an upward diagonal stab of 0.5 1 inch. Du meridian runs in the spine and goes deep into the brain, which is the sea of all yang. As the name implies, tendon contraction can relieve tendon contracture, so it can also treat epilepsy. At the same time, the tendon contracts under the spinous process of the ninth thoracic vertebra and is flush with the liver, so it also treats many diseases related to the liver, such as convulsions, back stiffness, jaundice and so on.
6. Body column (GV 12)
Located on the posterior median line, at the depression under the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra; It is approximately flush with the highest points of the two shoulder blades (see Figure 2-70).
Indications ① Body heat, headache, cough and asthma; ② Convulsion and epilepsy; ③ Strong back pain; There are boils on the back.
Experience an upward diagonal stab of 0.5 1 inch. Shen Zhu acupoint is located in the depression under the spinous process of the third thoracic vertebra, which is flush with Shu Fei, so its indication range is similar to that of Shu Fei, and it can treat exogenous diseases and cough and asthma. As the name implies, Shen Zhu point is the pillar of human body, which can be treated like back stiffness, pain, spasm and epilepsy.
7. Daodao (GV 13)
Locate the posterior midline at the depression below the spinous process of the first thoracic vertebra (see Figure 2-70).
Indications ① Fever and malaria; 2 aversion to cold, fever, cough, asthma and bone steaming hot flashes; 3 madness, strong spine.
Experience an upward diagonal stab of 0.5 1 inch. Knife is an important bone symbol in human body, so it must be distinguished from Dazhui. Many people can't tell Dazhui points apart, because many people have obvious protrusions on the spinous processes of the first thoracic vertebra and the seventh cervical vertebra. Generally, it can be distinguished like this. When the patient turns his head to touch, the spinous process rotates with the head, which is a big vertebra and the Tao does not follow. The indications of Dao Dao are similar to those of body column. Some people don't sit upright and lean forward when watching the computer. Over time, there will be an obvious bulge in the position of Dazhui and Dao. This protrusion not only makes people uncomfortable in this place, but also affects the stress direction of the upper cervical vertebra, resulting in disc herniation of cervical vertebra 5 6 and cervical vertebra 6 7. The fundamental solution is to change the sitting posture and standing posture. It's easier said than done. I have received many such patients, some came to me because of cervical spondylosis, and some came to me because of this "bulge". Last year, a girl from Northeast China came to Beijing from Manchuria to treat cervical spondylosis with a small needle knife. The effect is very good, but this "drum" is still obvious. Later, I asked her to go home, then practiced a few tricks and never came back for a follow-up visit. In fact, this kind of "inflation" rarely appears in the military group. Good posture can avoid these cumulative injuries.
