We shouldn't be too extreme in dealing with this matter. It is not that we can't help, nor that we should try our best to help. If we go to extremes, it will do no good to the development of animals. Our compassion is just an abuse. It will not help them, but will damage the healthy growth of their whole group. You can see many such scenes in the zoo. For example, tourists will feed some of their food to animals. Their real intention is to make animals not hungry and let them taste more delicious food. But human taste buds are different from those of animals, and their needs are different from those of animals. People don't know whether animals need these things while feeding them. Sometimes the food people give them may be for animals.
We should respect nature. First of all, we should respect nature, and then we can better adapt to and protect nature. The principle of natural selection and survival of the fittest applies not only to the animal kingdom, but also to us humans. Don't interfere too much with nature, which will not help our relationship with nature, and sometimes it will bring endless disasters to mankind.
