The designer of China national flag is Zeng Song Lian from Ruian, Zhejiang. With the victory of the China Communist Party in the Liberation War, the Preparatory Committee of the New Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) issued a notice to solicit national flag patterns in July 1949, and designed and submitted its national flag samples.
