The Silk Road was an overland commercial trade route connecting the Chinese hinterland with Europe, formed between the 2nd century BC and the 1st century AD, and used until the 16th century. It was the main road for economic, political and cultural exchanges between the East and the West.

D3:Rocky Road
Drive to Flower Lake. Flower Lake is located beside National Highway 213 between Ruoergai in Sichuan and Langmusi in Gansu. It is a natural sea on the Gerba grassland. Gerbaum is the second largest grassland in China after the Hulunbeier Grassland, with an altitude of 3,468 meters.
The classic time for Flower Lake is May and June. The lake is colorful and cloud-like, while it is filled with showy flowers that look like water monsters. The plant looks bland.
