1. Fayuan Temple
Every April, the flowers will come as scheduled, just like Xiangyun, with red walls and blue tiles and carved beams and painted buildings, which is simply the beautiful scenery of "the resort is full of flowers and fragrant snow". It is said that the lilacs in Fayuan Temple have been famous in Beijing since the Ming and Qing Dynasties. Lilacs are mainly distributed on both sides of the main hall, mainly white lilacs. Among them, there is a white lilac in the left front of the main hall, which is very beautiful and suitable for taking pictures.

2. Jietai Temple
There is an oldest lilac tree in Beijing in the Millennium Temple, which quietly blooms in the swaying spring breeze. More than 1,000 ancient lilacs are full of flowers and rich in fragrance, and the whole temple is beautifully decorated. White lilacs stick out of the wall and stand out against the gray tiles on the red wall. Besides cloves, there are peony, forsythia, magnolia, elm leaf plum and so on. It is also a blooming season, which is very pleasant.

3. Tiantan Park
On the west side of cypress forest next to the Hall of Prayer for the New Year in Tiantan Park, there is the largest lilac forest in Beijing, which covers an area of 6,300 square meters and is very rare with a tree age of nearly 50 years. White and purple flowers are small but delicate, blooming luxuriantly, and walking in them is like walking into a fairy tale world.
When the flowers bloom, the rich fragrance of flowers comes from far away, which makes people crazy. It is also a good choice to visit the Temple of Heaven at night with fragrance.

4. Forbidden City
The Forbidden City, with a history of more than 600 years, ushered in another spring, and the ancient trees that have experienced vicissitudes set off all the love. In April, lilacs are in full bloom, and between the red walls and yellow tiles, the elegance and romance defined by spring are staged.
The most dense place of lilacs in the Forbidden City is Wuying Hall. There is a whole lilac tree in front of the hall, with purple in white and smoke, echoing the Haitang in front of Wenhua Hall, showing the unique beauty of spring. The lilacs in Shoukang Palace are white, the trees are taller than the palace walls, the snow-white flowers are connected together, and the flowers are overflowing.
Lilac is one of the most widely planted tree species in the Forbidden City. Recently, the lilacs outside Donghuamen are also in full bloom, attracting many tourists to stop and watch.

5. Summer Palace
The Summer Palace is the largest and most well-preserved royal garden in China, and it is also a large-scale natural landscape garden. The spring here is naturally unique. All kinds of trees are lush on the long and narrow western dike, and the blue waves are rippling on both sides. The graceful Yuquan Mountain is in the west and the towering Buddha Pavilion is in the north, which constitutes a beautiful landscape painting.
There is a clove road in the back hill of the Summer Palace, which starts from the foot of Wanshou Mountain in the west, goes eastward along the steep mountain road, and reaches the west side road of the four continents in the back hill, with a length of about 100 meter. There are more than 300 lilacs planted here, and the crown is as high as five or six meters. In the season when lilacs are in full bloom, from a distance, purple and white are scattered all over the place, just like a long river of flowers.
Enter from the North Palace Gate and follow the signpost pointing to the blue rock boat, and you will see this lilac road. Clusters of lilacs are in full bloom by the roadside, emitting a refreshing fragrance, which is intoxicating.

6. National Botanical Garden
There are lilac gardens in both the North Garden and the South Garden of the National Botanical Garden, and more than 80 varieties of lilacs have been planted. It's quiet and elegant here. While enjoying flowers, I hear birds singing from time to time, as if telling the beauty of spring. In recent years, a new clove variety "Jinyuan" with independent intellectual property rights in the North Park of National Botanical Garden has attracted much attention. Its flowering period is from mid-May to early June, and its color is the only golden yellow among all clove varieties, which is very bright. In addition to the Lilac Garden, Cao Xueqin Memorial Hall is also a good place to watch lilacs in the North Garden of the National Botanical Garden.
Lilacs are small and weak, and the flower tube is slightly longer, giving people a feeling of wanting to do everything. When lilacs don't bloom, their buds are densely covered with branches, which is called "lilac knot". At present, the lilacs in the North Garden of the National Botanical Garden are in the early flowering stage, and it is expected that they will enter the full flowering stage one after another this week. Due to the variety, the viewing period can reach more than one month.
