Spring breeze and autumn rain square dance

The source "The Wind of the Four Seasons" was written by Guo, a poet in the Northern Song Dynasty. The whole poem is as follows:

Spring breeze can thaw, and warm weather promotes agriculture.

The skirt shakes slightly, and it will be sent when it is spent.

Xia Feng is full of plants and trees. Life is full of vitality.

By the small pond, the lotus fragrance smells across the bank.

Autumn wind mingles with autumn rain, and the night is cool.

There is sound, and fallen leaves are flying.

The wind in winter is like a tiger, and the study is covered with windows.

All day, the birds hid.

Translation:

Spring breeze can bring warmth, and warm sunshine urges farmers to cultivate. Farmers' clothes were slightly shaken by the wind, and flowers came from other places from time to time.

Xia Feng makes plants shake, and vitality shows the prosperity of nature. Watching by the pond for a while, you can smell the lotus floating on the other side.

Autumn wind mixed with autumn rain adds a little coolness to the night. The wind and rain in autumn are continuous, blowing the leaves leisurely, as if dancing.

The wind in winter is like a furious tiger, so you must close the window when reading in the study. The winter wind blows all day, and the birds hide.

Brief introduction of the author

Where is Guo? (about 1000—— about 1090) [Northern Song Dynasty] Chunfu was born in wen county, Henan (now Henan). Ning (1068- 1077) was once an art school of the Academy of Painting, and later served as an academician, waiting for the imperial edict. The era of vigorous creative activities was in the years of Ning and Yuan Feng (1068- 1085).

He painted mountains and rivers and cold forests and lived in Li Chengfa. There are "cirrus clouds" or "grimaces" painted on the rocks, and the branches hang like crab claws, with strong brushwork and clear ink and wash. The arrangement is unique, skillful in his early years and strong in his later years. It is often a scene of long pines and huge trees, cliffs and streams, rocky mountains and beautiful peaks, and clouds changing on the walls of high halls.

Shenzong once made a detailed catalogue of the famous paintings hidden in the secret pavilion, so Guo was able to browse the famous paintings of the past dynasties, and eventually became a master of landscape painting in the late Northern Song Dynasty. He was also called "LiGuo" with Li Cheng, and was also called a master of landscape painting between the Five Dynasties and the Northern Song Dynasty.
