Episode 1: Yi Shuihan (played by Huang Rihua) was born smart and mischievous, young was sent by his father to learn martial arts, but his dislike of martial arts, three years later, finally managed to get out of the Greenwood Temple to return home. His father, who is a government servant, is furious at Han's lack of martial arts skills and bribes Lord Xu to get him a post as a government servant. Lai Choi Yee, Xu's teacher, secretly supports the gambling business in the village, which is a bad influence, and Yi's mother is also addicted to gambling. When Chill tries to arrest the gambling syndicate, he is framed. Luckily, Yee's father pleads for leniency and is exempted from punishment, but he becomes a thorn in Lai's side. When Chill sees Xu's lover spraining her leg while patrolling the streets, he sends her home. Lai takes Xu to catch him in the act of adultery. Fortunately, Chill hides in the hot water of a bathtub and escapes. When his brother, who is a monk, is burglarized in the street, Luckily, Han gets justice for him, so he and Han make a plan to catch the gambler. When the wind suddenly blows in the village, the Xu family is in panic and invites a Taoist priest, Dong Guo You Me (Qin Pei), to perform a ritual to get rid of the evil spirits. The next day is a solar eclipse, and Dong Guo says that he has to make golden arrows to kill the Heavenly Dogs to avoid any future trouble, which Xu complies with, but Chun realizes that there is something wrong. Chill tries to test Dong Guo, but Dong Guo refuses to take him as his disciple. When Lord Xu invites a troupe to perform in the village, Chill falls in love with the flower girl Ying Gu.
Episode 2: Xu hosts a banquet to thank Dong Guo, and Mrs. Xu says that her husband's wealth is all from his fortune. When Chill and Tung Kwok go to the theater, they find Ying Koo suddenly disappears from the stage and feel something is wrong. When Xu is fooling around with his lover, he is frightened by a female ghost. Xu asks Dong Guo to exorcise the ghost. When the ghost appears, Dong Guo and Han follow her and learn that Lai has asked Ying Koo to pretend to be the ghost. When Mrs. Tsui falls ill, Lai advises the family to go to a temple for shelter. Lai advises the family to go to a temple to hide. Xu is worried about his family's belongings and sends his father to guard the house. Lai and Ying Koo were asked to meet with Ying Koo and try to find out what they were up to. That night, Lai and Yinggu sneaked into Xu's house and stole his belongings, which were switched by Dongguo and Han. Xu is furious at the loss of the property and arrests Yi-Fu and sends him to jail. Han seeks out Dong Guo to save his father. Under the pretense of being an imperial envoy, Dong Guo saves Yi's father and gets the money, and orders Han to escort him back to the capital. Dong Guo wants to leave with the money at night, but he is chained up by Chill and has to **** with him. Yinggou and Lai tried to snatch back the money but failed, and all the money fell into the river. Dong Guo and Chill are surprised to see the caravan being robbed and the bodyguard killed at night, and Chill finds the lost gold ingot before leaving. The disciples of Nangong Sect rushed to the scene and found that it was the work of the Three Lights Sect. The eldest disciple is killed by his bodyguard to save his sister, Ruan Hongye (Carina Lau).
Episode 3: While hiding from the pursuers, Ruan meets the duo of Chill, who fall in love at first sight. Dong Guo is surprised when he utilizes the Qi Men Stone Formation to get rid of the killers and Chill is able to get out of the formation as well. Dong Guo realizes that the gold ingots with the markings on them are being tracked down, so he lets Chill carry all of them. Ruan returns to the Nangong Clan and vows to destroy the Three Lights Sect. Although Chill is having fun at the Apricot Flower House, he cannot forget Ruan. A woman on the street, Rose (Zhu Biwen), wants to sell her body to bury her father, but Chill takes pity on her and buries her father for her. Rose likes Chill and follows him around, but Chill has no choice. Chill is unhappy with the shopkeeper and invites all the beggars in the town to a banquet, but Dong Guo is upset that Chill is spending money recklessly. Chill persuades Rose to leave on the pretext that he has no money, but he meets Tao Yi Drunk (Guo Feng), the head of the Beggar's Association. Ruan and his brother Song Xiaoyang (Chen Rongjun) use the gold ingot as a clue to track down the truth. Sung comes across a crying Mae and thinks that Chill is heartless, but Mae clarifies the truth for Chill. Chill takes Sung to the Apricot Flower House and teases him. Ruan reprimands Sung for his indulgence in brothels, but Chill is happy to see Ruan and goes with him. Chill wants to please Ruan and invites everyone to dinner, but he is mistaken as a member of the Sanguang Cult. As Mui is getting more and more helpful, Sung and the others come after Chill. He tries to save himself with a stone formation and is praised by Dong Guo, who eventually forces him to become his master. When they are chased to the river, Chill is ambushed by the Sanguine Cult's assassins in the water. Song and the others also arrived.
Episode 4: The Three Lights' disciples fought with Sung and others. Fortunately, Tao arrived and saved them, and proved that Chill was not a disciple of the Three Lights. Dong Guo follows the Sanguang disciples with the Seven Steps of Soul Chasing Incense and arrives at a righteous village. During the melee, Chill is knocked down a 100-foot well. When Mrs. Star (Chan Ka Yee) appears, Tao has no choice but to drink the wine of forgetting to kill, and repels Star with his palm, and everyone escapes. In the well, Chill encounters Shaolin master Yushu, who is crippled, and learns the reason why Sing has fallen into the devil's way. When the Beggars' Association is attacked, Tao orders all of them to stay away from Shaolin for the time being and deal with the affairs of the Association himself. Yushu heals Chill's wounds and realizes that his meridians are very good, so he instructs him to practice the Dharma Vajra Fingers. He then instructs him to practise the Dharma Vajra Fingers, by which he carries Yushu to climb out of a deep well. On the way, Sung revisits the righteous villa and encounters the Sun Devil, the Moon Evil and the Star Lady. Yushu transfers 30 years of kung fu to Chill by using the Open Top Technique. Chill fights the three devils and saves everyone. Song and others escort the injured Chill and Yushu to Shaolin. Ruan visits Ch'ien and Ch'ien tries to get close to him, but Dong Guo destroys his plan. They discuss how to deal with the Three Lights Cult and decide to send Chill to work as an undercover agent, but Chill complains bitterly. Chill pretends to steal the Shaolin Sutra and is pursued.
Episode 5: Xing captures the Sutra of Ease of Reinforcement and takes the blindfolded Chill back to the General Hall. The three devils agree to take Chill into the sect in order to practice the Sutra and to know the whereabouts of the Jade Tree. In order to control Cold, the three of them lured him to take the Bone Breaking Powder. Seeing that Sun and Moon were unable to practise the Yijin Sutra, Chill lied to them that he could help them practise and get the antidote to get rid of the poison, and tricked Moon to leave the Three Lights Sect's main altar. The people waited for Chill in vain and thought that he had died. The Shaolin Temple wanted to hold a big funeral for him. He hides in the Apricot Flower House and is found by Dong Guo. The two of them cheat money in the town by using thatched-roof techniques, but the trick is inadvertently broken by Guan Su Xin (Huang Man Ning), and the three of them do not fight and do not get acquainted. In order to find a place to stay, the three of them come to the Sixth Harmony Sect. Han discovers that Susumu is a woman and deliberately teases her, forcing her to sleep with him. When the Sixth Harmony Sect recruits a new master, Susumu gladly enrolls in the program, and with Chill's secret help, she wins the master's token. The two of them wanted to leave, but were forced to stay by Susumu. When Susumu is invited to attend the Shaolin Cold Sacrifice Conference, she begs Cold and his disciples to go with her, and Cold and his disciples have no choice but to accompany Susumu to the conference in disguise.
Episode 6: Nangong Yu (played by Gan Guowei) comes to preside over the conference. The old man of the Shura Cult, Chifa (played by Liu Dan), comes to challenge him, and Yu repels him. The company's first step is to develop a plan to deal with the Three Lights Cult. Susumu is a playful and naughty person, and sees that Cold is interested in Ruan, so she teases him. Susumu teases Ruan and forces Song to fight with her. In the midst of the fight, Ruan pulls off Han's fake beard. The crowd is upset that Chill is pretending to be dead, but Chill only cares about Ruan's attitude towards him. Chill confesses that he does not like Mai's obsession, but Mai refuses to give up. Chill worries about Ruan and goes to ask for his forgiveness, but he encounters Xing breaking into Shaolin. Chill goes to inform Yushu, but he is ordered by the master and witnesses Xing being enlightened by Yushu. In order to travel with Ruan, he follows Yushu's last words and defeats the Four Vajra Formations to become an elder of Shaolin. Tao accepts Mae as his daughter and passes on her martial arts skills, but he leaves them for a while because of the Beggar's Association. On the way, Ruan kills a goose in the lake to feed the people, but Ruan is very angry when he sees that the two geese have been torn apart. Song realizes that Ruan's sadness is due to the accidental death of her fiancé, and Dongguo plans to help Chun out.
Episode 7: The group encounters a spirit messenger, who is subdued by Susumu with her one-finger zen, but Dong Guo is knocked off a cliff. Song and Susumu go to Nangong Castle first, while Chill and Ruan search for Dong Guo, and Ruan realizes that Chill has ulterior motives for him. Ruan realizes that Dong Guo is not dead, and Chill has to go back to Nangong Fort with Ruan. Xing escapes from the Three Lights Cult with injuries, and Dong Guo saves him from being chased by Sun and Moon. Soo-Shin takes the position of multiple masters for the sake of face, and Sung has no choice but to do so. Yu shows off his kung fu skills at the ceremony of his release, which is admired by all. Out of curiosity, Susumu and Chill break into the forbidden area of Nangong Castle at night, which triggers a mechanism and alarms the people in the castle, but fortunately Ruan hides them in his room. When Chill is being chased by the Sun Devil, Dong Guo saves him.
Episode 8: Chill is distressed by Ruan's attitude towards him. Dong Guo pretends to be a man in black and knocks Chill off a cliff, which is seen by Song, who returns to the castle with news of Chill's death. The master and disciple go to the Apricot Flower House for a drink, and Sing comes to tell Chill that Ruan is in tears over his sadness. Chill is overjoyed and goes back to the castle to see Ruan. All the sects in the castle elected Tao as the leader of the demon elimination, Su Xin is not convinced, proposed a match, with the help of Chill secretly won Tao. They say goodbye to Yu and go on their way. Ruan is nearly assassinated in a restaurant, but Tao claims that it is due to Susumu's flaunting. When they arrive at the town at night, they are ambushed. Tao secretly orders his gang to protect them along the way and survives. Ruan is given a jade pendant by Chill to show his heart. Ruan begins to examine his feelings for Chill. Chill suggests that Song has a suitable girl, but Song does not understand and worries that Ruan is too depressed. Chill, on the other hand, is convinced that he can impress Ruan. The group arrives near the main altar of the Three Lights Cult and splits up to look for the entrance, with Chill teaming up with Ruan. Ruan hopes that Chill will achieve something, and Chill vows to work hard, which is sweet to Ruan. Sosin and Song have no intention to break into the entrance. Inside the tunnels, they disguise themselves as minions and arrive at the main altar, where they see the Sun Devil and Moon Evil punishing their men.
Episode 9: Susumu and Song want to go back to the entrance to inform the people, but the two devils notice them. The two devils realized that Susumu's power was limited, and she was injured, and Song and Susumu fell into the lake under the cliff by mistake. Tao and the others searched for Song but failed to find them. Song escapes from death and finds Susumu fainting by the lake, realizing that she is a daughter. The Sanguang Sect kills Susumu. Before her death, Susumu asks Song to hand over her fan pendant to her father, Guan Wuming (Liu Zhaoming), who buries her with a broken heart. Song is ambushed by two demons and escapes to the woods, where he is saved by Dong Guo, who is pretending to be Guan. Song asks Dong Guo to keep his fan pendant and go to the Three Lights Cult to kill the enemy, but Dong Guo is angry with him for being so dull. They come across a woman, Su'er (Zhuang Jingzhi), who is being pursued by the three clowns of the Snow Mountain. Song saves her, but Dong Guo suspects Su'er's kung fu. When Dong Guo meets a mysterious man who searches his body in a casino, he finds it even more strange. When Song leaves Su'er, he is knocked out by two demons on the way and is saved by Su'er. While taking care of Song, Su'er falls in love with him. After recovering from his injuries, Song kills many members of the Three Lights Cult, forcing the Sun Devil to show up. When they fought, the Sun Devil was injured and his life was in danger, but it turned out that Su'er was pretending to be the Sun Devil. Song feels guilty and takes her to seek medical treatment. Soo Yee tells him that he was chased by the Three Clowns because he stole the Ten Thousand Years' Ginseng Pill, which is the only way to save himself, but it has been lost. Song suspects that Dong Guo has it.
Episode 10: Dong Guo follows Song and Su'er and realizes that Su'er's inner strength is not weak. Yue Xie notices Song's whereabouts and follows him to a broken temple, where Song realizes that Su'er is Su Xin's sister. When Song fights with Yuexie, Guan arrives and is deceived by Yuexie, seriously injuring Song. Dongguo unlocked Su'er's acupressure points and cleared Song's name. Su'er confesses to her father what she has done. The three of them send Song to Shaolin to seek medical treatment. Dong Guo finally produces the Sanguine Pill and gives it to Song. Mrs. Xingxing sacrifices the Jade Tree at night, which is noticed by Dong Guo, and Xingxing is interested in Dong Guo. Tao, Han and Ruan returned to Nangong Fortress and learned what happened to Song. The two devils were ordered to come to the Nangong Gate to provoke a fight. The Moon Evil was killed by Yu and the Sun Devil escaped. Tao and Yu have a drink under the moonlight, Tao thinks that Chill will become a great man in the future, and Yu agrees, and gives Chill the sword used by Ruan's fiancé. Chill is overjoyed and brings the sword to Ruan. Ruan is saddened by the sight of the sword and blames Chill for not being a manly man. Chill is so jealous that he abandons the sword and wants to leave. Ruan finally hints that he can't bear to let go of Chill, and Chill is happy about it, but Tao pulls him away, leaving Ruan disappointed. Although Guan dislikes Song's pedantry, he acquiesces to Su'er's love affair with him. Kung and Song go to look for Tao, but they meet Mai practicing kung fu, and Kung praises her for her intelligence. Chill can't get rid of Tao, so he has to go with him.
Episode 11: Chill praises Su'er's beauty and is taunted by Su'er. Tao pretends to check Mai's martial arts skills, implying that she will stalk Chun. When Guan Xi meets Tao, the two of them have a drink to catch up on old times and discuss their martial arts skills. Chill tells Sung about his experience in Nangong Fort. Sung feels guilty for not being able to fight against the Sun Devil because of his love for his children and returns to Nangong Fort on his own, while Sue is saddened and also leaves. When he sees Tao returning to the Beggar's Association, he takes the opportunity to leave, and Mai feels bad and helpless. Chill meets Tung Kwok again at a gambling stall, and the two of them try to cheat a Taoist priest, but they are recognized and have to go to the Thousand Elephants Mountain with the Taoist priest. When the masters of the Thousand Elephants Cult gather to compete for the position of the Cult Master, Chill unintentionally pulls out the Purple Power Sword and is elected as the Cult Master. The two of them can't stand the harsh life in the sect and want to leave, but they can't. Chill is forced to practise the kung fu in the Taiyi True Scripture. The Taoist Master Qinghe (Luo Yingjun) covets the position of the Sect Master and pretends to flatter Han.
Episode 12: Master Mingyue takes Dongguo and his disciples to buy the Swallow Grass, which is a cure for cold and wind, and processes it into medicinal herbs. In order to get the Taiyi True Scripture in Cold's hand, Qing He superficially agrees to help. Dong Guo escorts the fake-dead Cold into the stone hall, but Qing He orders the door to be closed to trap the two of them. In desperation, Chill breaks the stone door, but is discovered by Mingyue and others at the door and fails to escape. That night, a blizzard hit the city, and the Thousand Elephants Cult took the opportunity to make a big profit. Chill searches everywhere for the money but fails to find it. When a woman from the East, Miyamoto Yuki (played by Yang Panpan), comes to challenge her in martial arts, Chill uses a trick to scare her off temporarily. Ching Wo becomes obsessed with practicing kung fu and kills people indiscriminately, but Yuki is unable to defeat him and is saved by Chill. In a panic, they break into a secret passage in the sect and find a golden cauldron engraved with martial arts techniques. Chill practiced Cold Jade Divine Kung Fu according to the instructions on the tripod and captured Ching Wo and imprisoned him, and Xue was happy to be Chill's master. Tao, because of the Thousand Elephants Sect's hoarding and price gouging, takes Mae to the Thousand Elephants Mountain and meets Cold.
Episode 13: Tao ordered Cold to come down from the mountain, and Dong Guo temporarily took over as the head of the sect. Tao is worried that the two internal forces in Cold's body collide and helps Cold dispel the Cold Jade Divine Power. The Nangong Sect's disciples were killed in the castle, and Yu ordered Song to rebuild the White Sword Team. Xue is annoyed that Cold has not returned for a long time, and Dong Guo urges him to challenge the Nangong Sect. Xue's kung fu is not bad, but Yu defeats him with a palm strike. Ruan is jealous of Xue for learning martial arts from Han and goes to find Han. Ruan meets Xue at night in a broken temple, and after talking to Xue, the misunderstanding is resolved. However, Xue disappears that night, and Ruan accidentally discovers the movements of Chief Ma (Dick Chen) in the fortress, which makes him realize that something strange is going on. When Elder Zhang of the Beggar's Association disappears, the members of the association misunderstand Mrs. Xingxing, but Ruan solves the misunderstanding and Xing learns of Dong Guo's whereabouts. Tung Kwok is confused by Sing's visit and tries to get down from the mountain, where he meets Ruan. Dong Guo pretends to be Cold and meets Ruan, but Ruan reveals his identity. On the way, Ruan and Tung Kwok encounter mysterious assassins under the command of Xiao Sheng. Tung Kwok goes to the headquarter of the Beggar's Association to seek help, but Chill arrives to save Ruan. When Chill meets Ruan, Mui interferes with him. When the Beggar's Association held a general meeting, the mysterious assassin reappeared. Tao judges that some martial arts masters have been transformed into soul-sucking messengers. Ruan and Dong Guo discover that the manipulator is Elder Li. After learning Li's motive, Tao reveals to Mai that he wants to pass on the throne to Cold.
Episode 14: Tao is unable to do anything about Ch'ien's injuries, and Ruan begs Yu to save Ch'ien with his own skills. Dong Guo uses acupuncture to cure Han, but is not allowed to disclose the method of healing. When Mrs. Xing Xing arrives, Tung Kwok and his disciples lament that they share the same illness and try to get rid of Xing Xing and Mai. When YU wants to leave with RUEN, HAN comes to his door with a bride price. Yu is suspicious when he learns that it is Tung Kwok who is treating Chun. Chill survives Yu's elaborate challenge and unintentionally picks up the secret scroll of the Flying Immortal. Yu agrees to marry Ruan. Tao cannot bear to see Mui's sadness and forces him to bring Chill back. Chill explicitly refuses to marry Mai, and Mai, in despair, practises kung fu and becomes obsessed, which is discovered by Tao. While Tao and Chill were curing Mae, Ruan went to the Beggar's Association to look for Chill and was attacked by a mysterious person, Chill gave up Mae to save Ruan in spite of the danger to his life. Mae finally died of heart, let Cold and Ruan go. Yu asked Cold and Ruan to get rid of the Sun Devil before getting married, and Cold had to agree. The Sun Devil is ordered to kill Mrs. Star, but Dong Guo uses a flying shuttle to scare him away. In order to capture the Sun Devil, Yu orders Han, Ruan and Song to escort the seven-layer Emerald Pagoda to Shaolin. When the Sun Devil appears on the way, Su'er rushes to the scene and the four of them are unable to defeat the Sun Devil, Yu appears and knocks the Sun Devil off the cliff. When Su'er is a guest of Nangong Castle, there is a rumor that the Nine Turns Shuttle is causing harm to people. Yu reveals to everyone that the Nine Turns Shuttle is the murderer of his own disciple, Luo Jianfeng. The cold manages to find the shuttle on Dong Guo's body.
Episode 15: Chill confronts Dong Guo about the murder of the nine-rotation shuttle. Dong Guo suspects that someone is framing him for the murder and is determined to find out more. Star is worried about Dong Guo and refuses to help him. Dong Guo goes to Nangong Castle to ask about Master Yu's murder, but to no avail. Sung and Ruan think that Dong Guo is a suspect, but Su'er says that there is a way to prove that Dong Guo is not the real culprit. When the Shaolin Temple is about to hold a pagoda ceremony, a man in black with a flying shuttle comes to steal the treasure, but he is ambushed and killed by Dong Guo. It turns out that the man in black is a devil in the sun, which makes everyone realize that the matter is not simple. Miyamoto Zao (Wu Mengda) comes to the Shaolin Temple to challenge Sung, but Sung is defeated and Su'er comes to his rescue, but is injured by the Cinnabar Palm of the East. Dong Guo leads Zao to the woods, and after talking to him, he realizes that he is looking for his daughter, Su'er. As Su'er's life is in danger, Chill, Ruan and Song escort her to Kuan. Kuan saves his daughter and entrusts Song with her life. Kung pretends to be a man in black and lures Chill to the woods to test his kung fu. He tells him that he was injured by a mysterious triad master 20 years ago and his power has been greatly reduced. Dong Guo suddenly appears and Kuan realizes from Dong Guo's martial arts style that the mysterious person is Yu. Pipe, Cold, Dong Guo and Xing discuss not to scare the snakes for the time being.
Episode 16: Ruan is not convinced that Yu is the mastermind behind the crime. Although Song is reluctant to let go of Su'er, he decides to go back to Nangong Castle with Ruan to find out the truth. The two of them are not the same, but they are the same, and they are the same. Ruan suspects Chief Executive Ma and finds out that Ma is lying. Ruan and Song follow Ma to the countryside, where they meet a spirit messenger and are forced to jump off a cliff to escape. Guan and Dong Guo force Chill to practice martial arts to deal with Yu, and Chill suffers a lot. Su'er and Chill talk about the scene of Yu's fight with the Sun Devil, and realize that Ruan and the others are in danger, Su'er helps Chill to leave. Dong Guo and Guan go to the Apricot Flower House to escort Chill back, but they encounter Ming Yue Taoist and others, and Chill has to go back to the Thousand Elephant Mountain. Hidden in the Nangong Fortress, he is repulsed by Yu and stays outside the fortress to wait for Xue. Ruan and Song break into the forbidden area of the Southern Palace and find that this is the hiding place of the so-called Soul Snatcher. The snow has already become the Soul Snatcher, tracking Ruan, Song, and Han to the Thousand Elephants Mountain.
Episode 17: Snow kills Hidden. The horse led Snow to kill many Thousand Elephants Sect disciples, and Cold used a trick to temporarily force Snow to retreat, and all of them hid in the secret room. Furyun can't stand it and rushes out, and is killed. Ma smokes the secret room. When everyone rushed out of the secret room, Cold led Snow to fight with Ching Wo. Ching Wo is killed and Chill wounds Ma. Yu appears and kills Ma for cleaning up the house. Yu claims that he is injured and bids farewell to Chill and the others to find another place to recuperate. Chill becomes suspicious of Yu. Guan's father and daughter, Xing and Dong Guo go to Shaolin and reveal Yu's deeds to Yuxu, but Yuxu is not convinced. They are taken to see Yu by Yuxu and pretend to believe that Yu is injured. The old man with red hair goes to Shaolin to challenge him. Guan and the others are outmatched, but Yu fights him off with a painful look on his face. Dong Guo tries to kill Yu. Yuxu is grateful to Yu and stops him, but Yu bites back at Dong Guo for his evil deeds. Yuxu puts Dong Guo under house arrest and wants to hold a public trial for him. Cold and others plan to ask Dong Guo to save Xue, but Xing brings the news of Dong Guo's imprisonment. Song and Ruan stay behind to take care of Xue, while Chill, Xing and Mai break into the Shaolin at night and meet the Guan's father and daughter, who they conspire to save. On the following night, Chill distracts the Shaolin disciples under the pretext of a fire, but Dong Guo is lured outside the temple by Yu, who kills him and kills him. In a critical situation, Chill uses a trick to save his master. Yu Xu orders his disciples to trace Dong Guo's whereabouts.
Episode 18: Dong Guo and others take temporary refuge in a rose. At night, the sound of a piper comes out and the snow becomes a soul-sucking messenger and kills everyone. Fortunately, Guan disturbs the snow with the sound of the zither and stops the fight. Guan goes back to Shaolin to find out the news, and all of them go to the Apricot Flower House. They went out to attract Snow, and finally caught Snow by disturbing the sound of the piper with the sound of drums. Chill and the others bring Snow back to the Apricot Flower House, where Dong Guo ties Snow up with a silk rope to prevent her from committing murder.
