I. Type:
1 There are about 170 species of rodents in China and 32 species of rodents in southern China. There are two kinds of rodents: domestic and wild. There are three kinds of common house mice in Guangdong: Rattus norvegicus, Rattus flavipectus and Mus musculus. The wild rats are mainly yellow-haired rats, also known as Rossi rats and voles.
2. There are 3 genera and 6 species of bamboo plants in the world: 2 species of bamboo in Africa (endemic to East Africa), 3 species of bamboo in China, 1 species (endemic to Asia and distributed in southern China) and 3 species of bamboo in China. The bamboo rat lives in tropical and subtropical forests, shrubs and bamboo forests in eastern Africa and southern Asia.
Second, the form:
1 mouse:
(1) Rattus norvegicus: Its fur is gray, and it likes to make holes in the walls and corners. Generally, it weighs about 300 grams, and the largest one weighs 900 grams. ..
(2) MICROTUS musculus: the coat is gray and the individual is small. In addition to nesting on the wall, it often keeps company with people, weighing about 20-30g.
(3) There are also roof rats, hamsters and yellow-haired rats.
(4) Rattus flavipectus: smaller than Rattus norvegicus, with a general weight of 100-250g, long tail and big ears, and the tail length exceeds the body length.
2. Bamboo rat:
Mole-shaped, as thick as a zokor. Blunt head, big kiss, small eyes, ears hidden in the coat. The tail is evenly covered with long, soft and thin hair, and the skin can be seen under perspective. Small foreleg, short claws, but strong, suitable for digging. The second and third fingers are almost equal.
The bamboo rat has a thick skull, enlarged zygomatic arch, high bone ridge and developed muscles. The upper incisors are particularly thick, 16 teeth. Among them, the Chinese bamboo rat is thick and cylindrical. Short limbs, but stout with claws, are tools for moving organs and digging holes for food. The tail is short, the front teeth are thick and the molars are short, which has the characteristics of rodents. The adult bamboo rat is about 30 ~ 40 cm long, and some species, such as the big bamboo rat, can reach 45 cm long and weigh 2 ~ 4 kg. Powerful toes and claw tips; The whole body has long hair, but the tail is hairless or short and sparse, which is longer than the zokor; The body color changes with age, from deep to light, and the hair color of larvae is darker than that of adults. The whole body is dark gray and black. The back coat of adult worms is brown-gray, with hundreds of apical needles. The coat on the nose, mouth and sides is slightly light, and the coat on the abdomen is sparse, white and dark, with shiny fine hairs. Pink skin can be seen through the coat, and the coat on the instep and tail of an individual is grayish brown.
Three. Living habits:
1 Apart from humans, mice are the fastest and most successful mammals. Take the moon mouse as an example. The moon mouse is a domestic mouse that often lives in human areas. It can get pregnant eight times a year and give birth to four to seven young mice at a time. In addition to consuming or polluting food, rats also like to grind their teeth, so quite a lot of packaging materials or construction equipment are bitten by rats. According to statistics, a quarter of unexplained fires in the United States may be caused by rats biting wires.
Rats are easy to adapt to human living environment, so they become the main pests. Rats often haunt sewers, toilets, kitchens, etc. And move back and forth between the bacteria-carrying place and the clean place, and spread pathogens through the feet, body hair and stomach of rats.
2. Bamboo rat:
(1) When stimulated by human beings, it sometimes sounds like "cough, cough ..." or "shout, shout ..."
(2) The female bamboo rat is very protective to the offspring, and often hides the offspring under the abdomen, and can breastfeed automatically;
(3) No drinking habits. Take more from the feed, but replenish water in summer to supplement the deficiency in the feed;
(4) Have the habit of killing each other and invading the enemy. When the male bamboo mouse enters the female mouse house with its young, it will kill the young mouse before living with the female bamboo mouse. Invasive house mice, chickens, ducks and quails are all used to killing, even killing.
(5) Eat less and sleep more during the day, and eat hard at night;
(6) I like to live in a dark, cool, dry and clean place;
(7) Resistance to low temperature and high temperature, especially to direct sunlight. When the sunlight is direct and the ambient temperature is too high, the bamboo rats eat less, sleep with their bellies up, and some of them die within half an hour. When the temperature is too low, the head and abdomen are tight and crawling uneasily, and the chirping sound of "wow, wow, wow ..." has been released.
(8) like temperature, low temperature resistance, not high temperature resistance, and like to hide in the corner with weak light. The living temperature is -8-35℃, and the optimum temperature is 8-28℃. Especially afraid of direct sunlight. [
