Anyang Vocational and Technical College is a full-time public ordinary higher vocational college approved by the provincial government, put on record by the Ministry of Education and sponsored by Anyang Municipal People's Government. Its predecessor, Anshan Iron and Steel Staff and Workers College, has a history of 35 years. At present, the college is a public comprehensive college which integrates the functions of higher vocational education, secondary vocational education, adult education and vocational training.
