[Teaching Essay] Understanding of Cuboid and Cube

I. Similarities

1. From the objects in life, abstract geometric figures (cuboids, cubes).

2. Explore the characteristics of cuboid (cube) from three aspects: face, edge and vertex.

3. Find the sum of side lengths

Second, compare similarities and differences and look for relationships.

Four. additional remarks

The opposite sides are parallel to each other, and the adjacent sides are perpendicular to each other.

Fifth, learn from, think about and expand.

The reference mentioned the teaching suggestion of the eighth question in the textbook. I have doubts about the following sentence: "If ① a square with a side length of 2㎝ is used as the left side of the cuboid, ② a rectangle with a length of 2㎝ and a width of 4cm is used as the bottom side of the cuboid ..."

If the bottom is 2 cm long and the width is 4 cm, the left side of the cuboid is not a square with a side length of 2 cm. Why not say that the bottom is a rectangle with a length of 4㎝ and a width of 2cm?

Or did the faculty tell us that the length and width of the cuboid are arbitrary?

With this question, I consulted the information and asked researcher Li to answer the question: in a cuboid, the positions of length, width and height are not fixed. ...
