1. April in the Countryside

Green all over the mountains, white all over the river, the sound of Zi Gui Li rain like smoke.
There are fewer people in the countryside in April, and only after the silkworms are inserted into the fields again.
Interpretation: The grass and trees are lush on the hillsides and fields, and the color of the water in the rice paddies mirrors the light of the sky. The sky is covered with smoke and rain, the cuckoo cries, the earth is a thriving scene. April is here and no one is idle, having just finished with the silkworms it's time to transplant rice again.
2, "Compassionate Farming"

Hoeing the field when the sun afternoon, sweat drops under the soil.
Who remembers that the food on the plate is bitter.
Interpretation: As long as a seed is sown in the spring, a lot of grain can be harvested in the fall. Under the sky, there are no wasted fields, but there are still hard-working peasants who die of starvation. In the middle of summer, when the sun is blazing, farmers are still working, their sweat dripping into the soil. Who would have thought that the rice in our bowls is full of the blood and sweat of the farmers?
3, "Shepherd Boys"

Grass spreads across the field for six or seven miles, and the flute makes the evening wind blow three or four times.
After returning to the house with a full meal, I do not take off my straw raincoat and lie down in the moonlight.
Interpretation: The vast grassland is like being spread on the ground, and there is grass everywhere. In the evening breeze came the intermittent and melodious flute sound of the shepherd boy.
The shepherd boy returned from his grazing, in the evening sunset after he had eaten his supper. Without even taking off his straw raincoat, he lay down on the grass to watch the full moon in the sky.
4. "The Field House"

The daytime is spent plowing the fields and the nighttime is spent performing hemp, and the village's children are each in charge of their own household.
The children and grandchildren have yet to learn how to plow and weave, and they also learn how to plant melons in the shade of the mulberry tree.
Interpretation: Hoeing in the fields during the day, rubbing hemp threads at home at night, the men and women in the village each have their own household chores. The children, although they do not know how to plow the fields and weave cloth, also learn to plant melons under the shade of the mulberry tree.
5, "Village Dwelling"

Grass grows and warblers fly in the February day, whisking the embankment willow drunk with spring smoke.
Children return early from school, busy taking advantage of the east wind to release paper kites
Interpretation: In February, when the grass grows and the birds fly, the willows along the embankment are intoxicated by the smoky vapor. The village children home from school is still early, hurry to take advantage of the east wind to put the kite in the blue sky.
