Not bad

Here's the gist of it: an old man adopts an orphan named Little Flower, but is opposed by his son and daughter-in-law. The old man had no choice but to take Little Flower to live alone. Little Flower knows that this is a piece of the grandfather's hard work, exceptionally understanding, exceptionally good at learning. She was never picky, she did not have a workbook, she secretly learned the word with wooden roots are carved in the soil; she did not have enough workbooks, let the teacher with a pencil tray homework, and so used up this book after it wiped and then use ...... experienced all kinds of touching things, the small flowers eventually won the old man's son and daughter-in-law's favorite. Later, Xiaohua went to college and returned to the countryside to teach after graduating from college ......

The whole movie is filled with a warm and familiar atmosphere: turquoise fields, tender yellow wildflowers, simple but neat farmhouse, simple and honest villagers... ...Everything seems to be re-enacting certain images from memory, and the simple story brings the deepest touch to one's heart.

~~Synopsis:

Jae-hee and Soo-gyung are college students at the same school, and both have a crush on Sang-min from the drama club. One day, Joo-hee secretly asks Joon-ha to show her the haunted house in the village, and they have an unforgettable day, but a sudden storm blows their boat away, and Joo-hee injures her foot on the way, so Joon-ha can only carry Joo-hee on his back and walk around the lake, and it's already very late when he sends Joo-hee home, and Joo-hee is immediately sent back to Seoul after the disaster, and she separates from Joon-ha without a word of goodbye. Synopsis:

Grown up in the U.S. during the Civil War, Hao Sijia does not care much about the war. Though eventually she was evacuated. She slowly begins to learn to take care of herself, and by the end of the war she becomes very strong and selfish at the same time. The movie ends with Reed, who is y in love with Sijia, choosing to leave because Sijia is still in love with her old lover, and it is only then that Hao Sijia realizes that he is her true love.
