The days of calm winds and waves,
You won't recognize me,
My green uniform is the most common color.
Floral moments,
You won't pay attention to me,
My red cap insignia flashes silently in the distance.
You don't know me,
I'm not lonely;
You don't know me well,
I'm still me.
If a storm comes one day,
the storm will show my soldier's true colors.
In the days of doves,
you wouldn't recognize me,
my name is not as prominent as the stars.
You won't keep an eye on me in the days when the smoke clears,
My story will be drowned out by the songs.
You don't know me,
and I am not lonely;
You don't know me well,
and I am still me.
If a storm comes one day,
the storm will show my soldier's true colors.
You don't know me,
I am not lonely;
You don't know me well,
I am still me.
If a storm comes one day,
the storm will show my soldier's true colors.
