If China's scientific and technological endeavors are compared to a rushing dragon, then the aerospace industry is undoubtedly the dragon's head. Since the founding of New China and especially since the reform and opening up, China's aerospace industry has always been the dragon's head, China's scientific and technological undertakings continue to rise to new heights, so that China's international status and core competitiveness jumped to a new level.
The dream of flying to the sky is complete, and the moon is in the sky
--China's aerospace industry has reached new heights in history
Many classic moments have already been frozen in history.
October 15, 2003, China's first astronaut Yang Liwei asked the dome of the sky, the vastness of space, from now on there is the figure of the Chinese.
Two years later, China sent two astronauts into space. From "one person, one day" to "many people, many days", China's manned spaceflight has taken another big step forward.
In the afternoon of September 27, 2008, as the door to the orbital module of the Shenzhou VII spacecraft opened, Chinese astronaut Zhai Zhigang wore a Chinese-developed "Flying" extravehicular space suit into the vast expanse of space and waved the national flag to greet people. The five-star red flag dancing in space told the world: China has officially become the third country to master the technology of going out of the capsule. At this time, China decided to implement the manned space program only 16 years.
In the 343-kilometer space orbit from the ground, people witnessed China's speed and the Chinese miracle. But China's space vision did not stop at this altitude.
In 2004, a project to explore around the moon was officially launched, and the moon, which is 400,000 kilometers away from Earth, became the new target of China's space exploration.
On Oct. 24, 2007, Chang'e-1 was lifted off; on Nov. 5, it was captured by the moon; and on Nov. 26, China's first image of the moon was formally released....... Like enjoying a wonderful show, the beautiful legend of "Chang'e Runs to the Moon" has gone from dream to reality. Following the artificial Earth satellites and manned spaceflight, China's spaceflight has since added a new shining milestone, opening the era of Chinese people going into deep space to explore the mysteries of the universe, marking China's entry into the world's ranks of countries with the ability to explore deep space. And from the project to a complete success, this time span in China only experienced less than four years.
In the past 30 years, led by manned spaceflight and lunar exploration, from one-rocket two-star to one-rocket many-star, and from domestic service to global service, China's spaceflight has built up a ladder to space step by step, and has steadily occupied a place in the peak field of spaceflight science and technology in the world.
Independent innovation, collaborative research
-China firmly grasps the initiative of aerospace development
Whoever masters the core technology will seize the world's scientific and technological commanding heights, and whoever grasps the initiative of future development.
In 1992, the Party Central Committee made a strategic decision to develop human spaceflight, and made clear the premise that China's human spaceflight would start with a spaceship. In September of that year, the Central Specialized Committee determined that China's manned spaceflight project would be divided into "three steps", and China's manned spaceflight development has been firm and clear since then. At this point, 40 years have passed since the U.S. and Soviet Union launched their spacecraft.
"Although the start is late, the starting point cannot be low." Wang Yongzhi, a consultant for China's manned spaceflight project, recalled the decision-making at the time, saying, "Our big idea was to leapfrog."
But "leapfrog development" is not easy. Manned spaceflight is a strategic high-tech technology that cannot be bought with money. China's development of manned spaceflight does not have any shortcuts to take, only independent innovation.
Innovation is everywhere.
People are surprised to find that the Chinese spacecraft looks different from others, with "three modules" -- propulsion module, return module and orbital module -- and a more advanced and perfect escape and life-saving system.
Independent innovation is not the only spacecraft, manned spaceflight is composed of seven systems, whether it is the rocket improvement, flight control, or astronaut training, launch sites and landing sites and other programs to prove the design, China's target is the world's forefront of science and technology to ensure that the key technologies with the world's advanced level of parallel, and locally, there are also beyond the 16 years, four unmanned spaceships and three manned spaceships. The Chinese manned spaceflight is a step by step process to catch up.
The moon exploration project is a brand new project. "The moon exploration project is an independent and innovative project. All aspects of the work we carry out must be 'Chinese'." Sun Jiadong, Chief Designer of the Moon Detection Project, said that the complete success of the first lunar exploration project is not only a vivid affirmation of China's lunar exploration technology route, but also a powerful proof of China's spaceflight independent innovation capability.
"Science cannot be a one-man enterprise." Aerospace engineering is a complex multidisciplinary high-tech integrated systems engineering. Take manned spaceflight as an example, it requires hundreds of research institutes, thousands of collaborative supporting units, and more than 100,000 staff members **** the same participation. "Great socialist collaboration produces productivity, combat effectiveness and cohesion." It is the great synergy of socialism with Chinese characteristics that continues to create new space miracles.
Thirty years since the reform and opening up, based on the peaceful use of space, based on China's national conditions, based on scientific decision-making, democratic decision-making, based on independent innovation, collaborative research, China's space industry did not take the wrong way, did not take a detour, and even less backtracking, every step has made China's space industry jumped to a new height. The independent, scientific and efficient development of the space industry is an important experience that a developing socialist country contributes to the world.
Talented and enterprising
--China's space future development will be even better
"The most important scientific and technological strength lies in talents." Evaluation of China's aerospace industry has gone through the road, in addition to a breakthrough, a leap of pride, we are more a batch of young team growth and young scientific and technological leaders to stand out and gratified.
In a space mission site, especially in some key positions, we can often see such a scene: "70 after" the courage to bear the heavy burden, "after" the "80 after" the courage to strive for the first. Data show that in the manned space engineering science and technology personnel team, young people under 35 years old has accounted for more than 70%. In the lunar exploration project team, more than 70% of the Chang'e 1 satellite development team are under 40 years old, with an average age of less than 30; the Long March 3A rocket launch test team of 188 people, with more than 60% under 40 years old.
"Our team is relatively young, I should say quite young!" Talking about the young people in the space team, Zhou Jianping, chief designer of the manned spaceflight project, was full of excitement, "What's even more gratifying is that many of the young comrades are in leadership positions, and a lot of them have actually been in the field for a long time."
"I believe that relying on this team and this batch of talents, our space industry can surely rush to a position on par with the world's space powers." Sun Jiadong, the founder of the "two bombs and one star", is full of confidence in this group of successors in China's space industry.
Where is the secret of China's increasingly young spaceflight? A good talent environment is a fertile ground for talent to grow. It is the old generation of scientists willing to serve as a ladder, carry forward the younger generation of scientists, a new generation of scientists to take on the heavy burden, upward, so that China's aerospace in the fierce international competition has always taken the initiative.
"Special hardship, special combat, special research, special dedication", the development of China's aerospace industry in the process of the formation of the "manned spaceflight" spirit, is becoming a vivid portrayal of the young aerospace successor. This spirit has become a part of the great spirit of the Chinese nation and a new driving force for China's scientific development.
"Our advantage is the space team." Talking about the future development of China's aerospace, Ma Xingrui, general manager of China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC), said happily, "We are a young and strong team, which is our advantage, and we want to take advantage of it to enhance our capabilities."
Youth breeds hope. People have reason to believe that China's space industry will have a better tomorrow.
