Noah the Blessed

Gen 6:8 But Noah was favored in the sight of the LORD.

Gen 6:9 The descendants of Noah are written below. Noah was a righteous man, a perfect man in his generation. Noah walked with God.

Gen 6:22 And Noah did so. He did all that God commanded him.

Noah's time was full of corruption, people's thoughts were all evil, but in that time, Noah lived a different life, and he was the only one who was blessed before God. From the above verses, we can see that his performance was mainly in the following aspects:

First, he was holy

The scripture says that he was a perfect man in those days, which means that he lived a life that was separate from the sinful environment of those days, and was unaffected by it, and that he kept his life holy. Similarly the age we live in today is no different from Noah's time, so if we want to be blessed, to be blessed, we must separate ourselves from the world's mode of living, the world's values. Not to be influenced by the world, but to influence the world.

Secondly, walking with God

It was possible for Noah to be set apart and unaffected all the time because he was walking with God, living in God's presence, helping him to overcome all evil, just as Joseph was able to triumph in all his temptations and circumstances because he was living in God's presence. We can do nothing apart from the Lord, so we must walk with Him every day.

Third, listen to the Lord's commands

In the face of God's words, Noah did not doubt, nor discounted but completely according to God's commands, whether it was to build the ark, or into the ark out of the ark, he was according to God's words to do, and the result was blessed! Therefore, if Christians want to make their lives more blessed, they must listen to the Lord's words and do them, and they will be blessed!
