1957-1970: The Beatles Period
On July 6, 1957, a fifteen-year-old Paul McCartney was introduced to John Lennon and his band The Quarrymen (of which Woohan was an occasional member) by high school friend and classmate Evan Woohan, who was playing at a community event at St. Peter's Church in the suburb of Houlton. 1970-1981: The Feathered Period
