In the Taihang Mountains, more than 60 kilometers west of Xingtai City, there is a scenic area called Tianhe Mountain. Tianhe Mountain is the birthplace of the story of the Cowherd and the Weaving Maiden, which is why it is also called "China's Love Mountain".
One day in early June, my granddaughter, Gogo, attended a dance school organized by the family of three young students braved the heat and drove to the Tianhe Mountain day trip. My partner and I were encouraged by our son and daughter-in-law to go along.
Tianhe Mountain belongs to Xingtai Xindu District, a scenic area of 30 square kilometers, known as the greenest place in the Taihang Mountains. The scenic area is characterized by strange peaks and lush trees. Mountain springs gurgle and waterfalls are like curtains. Love elements can be seen everywhere. Passionate rafting, exciting and fun. High-altitude walking, step by step. Therefore, with its many attractions, Tianhe Mountain has attracted countless Chinese and foreign tourists to come and play.

The word "love" is engraved on the Hwagangan rock by the square. The words "China's Love Mountain" can be seen everywhere on the slopes along the road. There is also the "Magpie Bridge" and "Tanabata Square". It makes the visitors feel like they are really in the side of the "Cowherd and Weaving Maiden".
We traveled about 10 kilometers by car from the Love Square, and the car could not go any further. The driver and guide led us up a road that was under construction. At this point, we have come to the halfway point. Surrounded by peaks full of emerald green, there was a house building on a distant hill, and there was a passageway leading to the mountain. Retracting our gaze, we looked toward the mountain stream, and at our feet were deep green plants. A coiled road, ebulliently extending like a white band, encircled the green gaps.
Watching and taking pictures, we came to a protruding cave. The cave is a "7" shape, about 20 to 30 meters high, looks like a new excavation. Entering from the bottom of the "7" word, there is a huge "peach heart" type hole at the corner of the "7" word, which is the "heart of love" hole.
Couples standing in the "heart hole" to take a picture of the front or back, will be a great souvenir of the visit to the love of the mountain. In the tour guide and dance school principal of the encouragement, my partner and I also dashing a time, took a romantic hand in hand back photo and two hands raised above the head to form a "heart" type of front photo. Tianhe Mountain has many exciting and fun places. But that's all the young people's favorite. As we waited, we looked up from time to time. The tourists were wearing safety ropes, and one end of the rope was hanging on another rope above them, and they were walking forward step by step with their hands on the rope. Because they were so high in the air, they took one step at a time.

Rafting is the most exciting activity for young people in Tianhe Mountain. Tianhe Mountain tourist area has the largest canyon rafting project in North China, due to the large drop, water flow, thrilling, known as "China's first couple rafting". The rafting is 3.6 kilometers long, with a total drop of 69 meters. There are more than 20 large and small drop-offs, and the largest drop-off is more than 20 meters.
More than ten young mothers and fathers and their children were very excited when they arrived at the rafting point. Just see them wearing good waterproof plastic clothing, under the guidance of the staff, respectively, sitting in the rubber raft downstream. In the process of sliding down and sailing through the curves faster and faster, in the splash, can not help but drift, they must have experienced the tension, excitement and refreshing flavor.
Before the rafting, the young people repeatedly encouraged both of us to go rafting as well. But we still refused their good intentions. Because, after all, is not young. The old, we have to serve the old, or safety is the most important.
Tianhe Mountain, a picturesque landscape. Because of the story of "Cowherd and Weaving Maiden" has been passed down here, and has a large number of cultural relics, was recognized by the relevant state departments as: Cowherd and Weaving Maiden story of the original place. With this natural advantage, Tianhe Mountain has registered the trademark of "China Love Mountain". Not only that, Tianhe Mountain has also been awarded the reputation of "China Tanabata Culture Township".
Since then, Tianhe Mountain has become synonymous with Chinese Tanabata culture. Every Tanabata festival, Tianhe Mountain will be a sea of people, visitors, many young people, have come here to make a wish, tell each other their feelings.
