What kind of shoes are better for those strip square dancers?

In summer, you can wear black cloth shoes (dance shoes). In winter when it is cold, you can wear flat cotton shoes with soft soles, or cotton traveling shoes.

1. Don't wear shoes that are too tight, and wear thin cotton socks with good breathability if possible.

2. If your toes are prone to blisters or scrapes, try protecting them with tape or Band-Aids. Some people find that medical tape or special toe tape works better than regular Band-Aids. If you really prefer a Band-Aid, remember to buy a cloth one rather than a plastic one, which doesn't conform well to the skin.

3. When you're done, take off your shoes and it's easy to see which toe needs a bandage. The toes that have been squeezed the most are usually red and swollen. Carefully bandage these sensitive toes so they don't blister.

4. If your heels hurt and blister when you put on your shoes, they must not fit. Check to see if it's because the shoe size is too big. Shoes shouldn't slip off your heels when you're dancing. If the shoe size is correct and the shoe still doesn't fit, try a heel post. Most heel patches will have a self-adhesive side that fits over the heel to help you with a shoe that doesn't follow your foot. If your heels are prone to blistering, then apply a cloth band-aid to the sore spot.

5. If you feel pain at the toe joints, or between your big toe and second toe, try a toe separator pad. Toe separator pads are often used when the second toe is longer than the big toe. Toe separator pads are made of gel and are used to separate and align the toes. Carefully place the toe separator pad between the big toe and the second toe.
