This is a family of four with a strong sense of traditional Chinese values, a reorganized family consisting of a father and daughter and a mother and son. Li Jingjing (Dai Jiajia) is a girl who loves to dance, but her father, a former dancer, opposes her, and the relationship between father and daughter is once strained. Eventually, with Jingjing's persistence and the help of her family and friends, her father agrees to Jingjing's choice. Later, Jing Jing gets the help of a dance teacher and shows her outstanding potential in dance. However, just when everyone thought that Jing Jing's story would be smooth sailing, her father died in an accident trying to save Jing Jing, leaving Jing Jing with her stepmother. Jing Jing's left foot is amputated in the accident, while her stepmother suffers the pain of losing her husband and her own son. At the end of the day, Jingjing calls out to her stepmother for the first time, and starts dancing again with the help of her stepmother and teachers.
