Park Bo Gum (朴寶劍), born June 16, 1993 in Seoul, is a South Korean actor and host.
He made his official debut in 2011 when he acted in the movie "Blind Witness".
In 2014, he appeared in the costume movie "The Battle of Narayang Sea".
In 2015, he appeared in the gangster action movie "Chinatown" in April; he was the host of the live show "Music Bank" in May; he appeared in the suspense drama "Remember You" in June; and he starred in the tvN gold drama "Please Answer 1988" in November, where he gained widespread attention for his role as Choi Taek.
In August 2016, he starred in the costume drama "Moonlight Drawn by Clouds" and also sang the interlude song "My People", for which he won several awards including the Best Actor Award at the 16th Korean National Assembly Awards, the Men's Most Outstanding Acting Award at the KBS Acting Awards, and was shortlisted for the Best Actor Award in the Television Department at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards, and the drama's ratings of 23.3% set the highest ratings of KBS monthly dramas for the past seven years ( 2011~2017); in December, he won the first place of the most outstanding drama actor in the Gallup Poll in Korea with 35.2% support .
In March 2017, he topped the Forbes Korea Celebrity List at No. 1, becoming the first actor to top the list; in May, he won the Popular Actor Award in the TV Department at the 53rd Baeksang Arts Awards; in September, he won the Best Actor Award for a Korean Drama at the 12th Seoul International Television Festival; and in November, he was honored by the official of the Minister of Culture, Sports, and Tourism at the 8th Korea Popular Culture and Arts Awards .
In 2018, he starred in the drama "Boyfriend".
