The College of Music of Qingdao University is located in Qingdao, a famous seaside city in China, on the shore of the Yellow Sea, at the foot of the Fushan Mountain, with beautiful scenery. In August 2004, it was renamed as "College of Music". Nowadays, the college has developed into the highest music school in Jiaodong area, with four undergraduate majors in musicology, music performance, dance and composition technology theory, 16 master's degree programs in musicology under the first-level discipline of music and dance, and a master's degree program in music performance in the field of art. The musicology discipline of the college was awarded the key discipline of Shandong Province for ten consecutive years during the "11th Five-Year Plan" and "12th Five-Year Plan".
