Is there such a good thing? I live in Sanyuanli, and the single room costs 700 for one mattress.
In terms of safety factor: I think Sanyuanli is more complicated, but there are many old people and children here. They sing and dance in the square every night, and I feel relatively safe; I don’t know about Xiaobei, but I know a lot Black foreigners.
The cost-effectiveness of the rent: Obviously Xiaobei is more cost-effective, but if it is just a shared rental on weekends, three yuan is enough. Moreover, it is not safe when people are away on weekdays and there are many household appliances. Remember to keep doors and windows locked.
Consideration of geographical location: Obviously Sanyuanli, Line 2 leads directly to the Memorial Hall. If your estimate is correct, you might rent in Sanyuanli Village, which is relatively close to the subway entrance; and from Xiaobei to Guangzhou Railway Station, where there are many people. It will be very annoying.
PS: Near Sanyuanli there is a large shopping mall called Fanfeng, as well as a large market called Guihuagang, which basically meet daily needs.
Based on the above considerations, Sanyuanli is OK, but it also depends on the housing environment. My classmates and I live in Sanyuanli, haha. Welcome~
