Itinerary
Day 1: Shanghai - Hangzhou to stay in the First World Hotel Hangzhou Paradise - evening Yunman Hot Spring.
Day 2: Hangzhou Paradise Opening Ceremony - Rotten Apple Paradise Shanghai
Stay at Tinkerbell's Tropical Jungle
I've heard a lot about the First World Hotel, but I always regret missing it. When I was still working in the office, I missed the opportunity to build the First World Hotel. When I came back, my coworkers were raving about the hotel, which made me even more sorry. On this trip to Hangzhou with Suyi, I was finally able to fulfill my long-cherished dream of seeing the real world.
Before I went, I was skeptical about what kind of hotel was so confident that it dared to call itself the First World, or Grand Hotel. After arriving at the hotel and realizing that it was a long walk from east to west of the hotel, I finally understood why the hotel dared to call itself first. Big, really is the first impression of the First World Hotel. With such an open space, it's no wonder that it has become the hotel of choice for nearby reunions and large meetings.
So what are some of the aspects of this hotel that touts itself as a family-friendly property? Indeed, when we arrived in the lobby, we got a baby-friendly feel from the hotel's software and hardware even before we checked in. Every staff member who saw us with a child would offer to stop and say hello to the baby. When the baby fell, they would be the first to rush to help, faster than us parents.
Besides the family-friendly attributes, the hotel is set up to make you feel like you're in the tropical jungle of Southeast Asia, and the sense of vacation ambiance is suddenly acquired. My favorite part of the hotel is the atrium, decorated as a tropical botanical garden. The central open space not only hosts weddings and banquets, but is also a great place for kids to play and take photos.
Because the hotel covers a vast area, the hotel is worried that guests won't be able to find their rooms, and an intelligent robot will show them the way to their rooms. Don't underestimate the robot, it's very popular with the kids. Suyi circled around it again and again, happy to have met this new friend. It's as if the Parent-Child Hotel takes care of the kids from before they check in.
The Parent-Child Room has a special area that is set up through this childlike dreamy scene, right at the back. This time we stayed in the Tinker Bell themed room.
Inside the room there is a little wooden horse, a children's sofa, and a pink polka dot tent, full of girlishness. There was also a basket of block toys in the tent. The kids couldn't help but play with it themselves before I finished taking photos. So sweet that even when the adults are resting in the room, the kids can still find fun in killing time.
The room's floor mats, welcoming chalkboard, and even the small decorations on the desk are adorable tinker bells. I'm sure the hotel really did their homework when this room was first designed. Searching these neighborhoods takes a long time.
While the main style of the rooms is European vintage, it doesn't get in the way of fitting in perfectly with Tinkerbell's parent-child theme. The bathrooms have showers, large tubs, baby bath tubs, and bath toys designed to please children. While it's no longer unusual for all five-star hotels to have children's toothbrushes, slippers and bathrobes, the children's toilets, toilet rings and kicking stools are appealing, and parents can save themselves a lot of heartache if they can solve their baby's toilet problems, as families with babies know.
Although I have stayed in many parent-child hotels, there are really few that can do this.
Toiletries are also Tinkerbell!
There are dirty clothes baskets, kick stools, and children's toilets neatly arranged under the sink. Useful or not, this kind of care makes it seem like family-friendly hotels are never just talk.
In the evening, the guest room department also delivers silver ear and wolfberry soup, a bowl of which warms you up before bed. I'm sure I can have good dreams like the handwritten blessings on the leaves.
In addition to these hardware facilities and software services, the hotel also strives to create a relaxed, childlike atmosphere in its business philosophy. Every morning at 9:30 a.m., after breakfast, I take my baby to see a song and dance parade of cartoon characters. The costumed performers come to the guests, singing and dancing as if every day in the First World is worth celebrating.
Bao Shiyu watched quietly from the beginning, and eventually joined the grand celebratory procession with her cast sister. The old mother was y gratified because she had just turned three and always kept improving and surprising us. I remember when we went to SeaChange Ocean World at the end of last year, we came across the colorful parade. At that time, she didn't dare to wave and high-five with the parade performers. Only a few months later, she was able to hold hands and dance with a strange auntie, and she enjoyed it, which reinforced our determination to take her out to see more of the world.
There's also a modest children's playground in the hotel, although most people staying here choose to hit the two nearby playgrounds. But for younger babies, there's a children's playground in the hotel that allows them to go wild and is a great addition to the discharge. The children's playground is across the street from the gym, and it's quite nice for kids and adults to work out together.
South of West Lake, Hangzhou has a secret paradise.
Hangzhou Paradise First World Hotel, Hangzhou Paradise, Hangzhou Rotten Apple Paradise, Lang Lang Wave Water Park are all together. The First World Hotel's circular walkway leads straight to the ticket office, which can be very convenient.
Hangzhou Paradise at 10:00 am, there will be a special opening show. The whole show is not long, but it also includes magic, singing and dancing, and even a dangling stunt program. I guess Suyi has never seen such an awesome scene. I believe that after watching the show, she will be looking forward to the paradise inside.
The park is divided into three parts: Hangzhou Paradise, Huxiang Songcheng, and Lang Lang Lang Water Park. Because of the season, the water park is not open yet. I heard it is very interesting. Hangzhou Paradise is the largest amusement park in Hangzhou and is well known in the surrounding areas of Zhejiang, including myself. I've wanted to experience it for a long time, but I just never had the chance to come here specifically. This time, it was blessed by Suyi.
Just entering the park, is Xianghu Songcheng District. People who have been to Hangzhou Songcheng should be familiar with this realistic version of the theme neighborhood of "Qingming Riverside Drawing"! Since I've taken Suyi to the famous Songcheng before, I quickly passed through the area, still wanting to spend more time on the park's rides.
Finally, we came to the main area of Hangzhou Paradise! It's also divided into three areas: Mayan Tribe, Lost Jungle, and Adventure Island. Some of the big thrill rides are in the Mayan Tribe section, such as the Hanging Roller Coaster, Rain God's Hammer, and Wind God's Hand. Suitable for thrill-seeking youngsters. Let's pass by with the baby to see the fun. Of course, the baby is also the excuse that I don't have the courage to go up without the baby. Yes, at the critical moment, you have to admit cowardice.
Suspension roller coasters whizzed through the Mayan jungle 2,000 years ago, accompanied by a loud rumble. Look up, it's whizzing by.
There's a pedestrian street next to the Mayan Tribe called the Mayan Market. It comes with its own canopy. Whether it is windy or rainy, strolling through the park is a good place to rest and eat. There are all kinds of stores on both sides of the walking street. Whether it's cyber celebrity milk tea, cyber celebrity fries, tea restaurants, or pottery, hand-painting, or experiential venues, the Mayan Marketplace has it all. Allowing you to not only chase thrills, but also enjoy the peaceful years from an amusement park.
At the end of the Mayan Marketplace, there's also a vintage green wagon, which is the park's locomotive restaurant. If you're up for a full day of fun, consider coming here for dinner and photos. Literary youngsters love this element of training.
Leaving the Mayan Tribe, next is the Lost Jungle area. This place is more suitable for all ages than the Mayan Tribe. There are a lot of mildly under-aged programs that preschoolers can play as well. Although some of the programs weren't open on rainy days, it didn't stop us from hitting the ones that a one-meter kid could play over and over again. Sukiyaki was enthusiastic all the way through and wasn't sleepy after a good night's sleep.
The most attractive feature of this area is a large ceiling. Under the ceiling there are a lot of self-funded entertainment, such as shooting balloons, fishing, archery and so on. Which kids love to play. In the middle of the ceiling is the parachute tower, you can enjoy Hangzhou Paradise from a high place, but it is not open on that day.
The older she gets, the more independent she becomes. Three-year-old Suyi can already queue up on her own, sit in the carriage by herself and wait for the staff to help her fasten her seatbelt. She played by herself, refused our company, and said thank you to the aunt and uncle who helped her get off the bus when she left. As for us, just watch.
The girl's heart is loaded with a double-decker carousel, and the weather is not open.
This circle game may be despised by adults, but it's a favorite of children, who relish it. Play it at least twice.
The flailing Fashion Flyer, though I don't know what the fashion is, maybe the color scheme is bright? It's the jumping machines, the pirate ship, the three major amusement parks, all gathered in the back.
High flying, upgraded jungle swings, much higher. I would like to ask the poor balance with fear of heights friends, you are afraid to love me?
Adventure Island is opposite the water block, where a row of colorful European-style huts and the blue waves of the artificial lake complement each other. In addition to fun, Hangzhou Paradise is also highly ornamental.
The largest double-decker carousel is not open, but at least one single-decker carousel is in business, and I rushed to accompany Suyi to turn three rounds. Ask me if I'm dizzy. Fortunately, I had a good balance.
At Hangzhou Paradise, Suyi was in the pumped-up state shown above, constantly pointing the finger -. I want to play this and I want to play that. Feeling the fatal attraction of amusement parks for kids.
This cute and funny dinosaur sculpture thinks it's just for everyone to see and take pictures of, but you're wrong. When you pass by it, it will surprise you with water like a prank. Although the amount of water is not big, it still scares the passersby to turn back to look for water in fear. Upon discovering the instigator, most of them will look at each other and kill each other. Shouldn't there be a camera pressed nearby to record the expressions of the duped?
In addition to the recreational facilities, a newly opened cute pet park has opened in Hangzhou Paradise. While the scale and animal species are certainly not as large as a regular zoo, the birds, hamsters and goldfish here can all be interacted with and fed to children up close. It's especially suitable for families with children, which zoos may not have such opportunities.
The hamster cuddling scene really filled me with blood.
The bottle was filled with fish food and attached to a long pole so that kids could grab it and feed it to the goldfish in the pool. Bao Shi language, a child experiencing fish feeding for the first time, has such a serious expression.
This scary circus boat is a new addition to Hangzhou Paradise. Immersive performances coupled with the ups and downs of the suspenseful plot, especially interactive. As for the rest, there's not much else to tell here. Just look at the queue below to see the popularity.
Adventure Island's programs are more experience-oriented. For example, the secret room escape, VR experience hall, water tricycle and so on. Although Hangzhou Paradise is not a big city, but there are many kinds of entertainment activities, very comprehensive, with facilities for visitors to rest and eat. So many people are rushing to see the opening show before entering the park until the moment it closes.
Manga Hot Spring, feel the warmth of winter in the ethereal fairy atmosphere.
Yun Man Hot Springs, famous in Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai, is actually in the First World Hotel. There is a direct entrance next to the front desk. After a crazy day in the park, it's the perfect way to come back and soak in a hot spring to relieve your fatigue.
We visited Yunnan once during the day and once at night. If you prefer to soak in a hot spring in a clean environment, it is recommended that you come during the day. Since most of the people who come here are families with children who usually have fun at the amusement park during the day, Yunman Hot Springs is very popular at night.
The Mann Hot Spring is sweet and stays open until 10pm. We couldn't wait to experience it at night after Suki fell asleep. When we walked into the Yunman Hot Spring, it was an outdoor garden style hot spring. It was like walking into a tropical rainforest with winding corridors and lush greenery. Breathing in the nose is the scent of grass and trees, and the fragrance of the soup pool. Immortal steam, lanterns hanging high, the night clouds full of hot springs like a fairyland.
Yunman Hot Spring has more than 30 open-air hot spring pools. Some of the pools are now closed because it is past the peak of the winter hot spring season. Most of the soup pools here are soup pools, angelica pools, ginseng pools, mugwort pools, Chenpi pools and He Shouwu pools. These all have different effects. There are also unique Yuanyang soup pools and nine-gang soup pools, and when we get into the water, we feel like we are all chunks of meat flipping in the hot pot, haha.
Although it's already past winter, it's still very comfortable to soak in the hot springs now. This nourishing lifestyle is to be in a healthy state at all times. It's good to know that not all of the soup pools are available for a set of hot spring photos, if you're interested. Each of the soup pools is separated by garden plants, so privacy is still possible and you can enjoy the hot springs quietly by yourself.
This is supposed to be the internet celebrity shooting spot for Yunman Hot Spring. Many beautiful women love to take photos in this pool with the big moon behind them as the background. Especially at night, with the charm of the hot spring, it feels like going to the Guanghan Palace on the moon.
If it's raining, there are also indoor yukata (hot spring) pools with a Japanese flavor that look great. There's also a kid-friendly souk with colorful ocean balls floating on top. If I had known I would have brought Sukiyaki for the experience.
The warmth of the soup pool relaxes the body and mind, relieves fatigue, soaks up a sweat, and all the fatigue from walking all day disappears.
The world of magic and wonder in Rotten Apple Land
If Hangzhou Paradise is for adult friends, then Rotten Apple Land across the street is a world of fun and magic for kids. You may have the same question as me: why would a good children's playground be called Rotten Apple? Actually this Rotten Apple is not another Rotten Apple. Actually, Rotten Apple is a cute anime character. She's a little girl with a lot of nerves, the main character of this playground, and an enthusiastic person who is not only cheerful, but also helpful. This word rotten in Rotten Apple doesn't mean ragged. It actually means splendid, representing the innocent smile of a child.
Walking into Rotten Apple Paradise is like walking into a huge underwater paradise. The blue ocean elements are visible at a glance, and a cool breath blows on your face. The whole park is divided into three levels, 10 areas, each area has more than ten special games. It mainly consists of ten fantasy themed areas: Pirate Street, Four Seasons Garden, Jellyfish Plaza, Deep Sea Plaza, Fruit Tribe, Dystopian Town, Love Story House, Magic Jungle, Candy Town and Gold Coast.
In fact, the entrance to the gate is on the second floor of the park. Although there are rides in the park that you can't play on, Suyi, the child who saw the trampoline, couldn't wait to go in and bounce around in her slippers. If we hadn't repeatedly reminded her that there was a lot more fun to be had back there, she really wouldn't have wanted to come out.
The second floor is called Happy World, which has miniature amusement park projects, such as the Ferris wheel, carousel, jellyfish car, pirate ship and so on. The range is mild and suitable for children. As long as the height of 90cm or above children can find their favorite play. For Sukiyaki, the strange and happy world can be anything new and everything they want to try. A lot of equipment adults can also play with them and find the joy of childhood here.
Yesterday in Hanging Paradise on the pirate ship particularly greedy package teacher language, finally in the rotten apple paradise dream. Rotten Apple Park's recreational facilities are managed humanely. Once a baby cries and doesn't fit in midway through the opening, the staff will stop it immediately.
Even the snack bar is designed in the mouth of a giant shark, and the paradise is full of childish fun.
Cross the stairs and walk from the second floor to the first. It ranges from the blue of the ocean to a magical world like the Wizard of Oz. The main rides are concentrated on the first floor. There are thrilling jumping machines, children and adults love to queue up forever for crazy bumper cars, and cute monkey school to see happy stories among monkeys, magic kitchen, jungle duel, princess castle. There are more than 50 rides on this floor, enough for kids and big friends to spend a day inside.
It's not tall enough to play on, but it's still fun. Let me give you a hand!
Bumps is a popular ride for families with kids, but Suyi's height is a little short of being able to ride it.
This little train is a kids' favorite and requires a team. It could be called a low-grade roller coaster. Cars make automatic turns along a 60-meter track, circling on rolling riser tracks. High as it goes, low as it goes, you chase people around, giving your child the experience of climbing mountains and flying through time and space. It's exciting enough without any sense of panic.
Candy represents sweet and wonderful fantasies. To share candy is to pass on joy and happiness to everyone around you. There are more than a dozen craft workshops with different themes on Candy Street, where you can not only make bread, cakes, chocolates, gingerbread and other desserts, but also enjoy an all-around sweet experience.
Wonderful little trains, dead trees, tree trunks, ghosts floating in the air, cow bones, the Great Pumpkin and the Great Tree Cave. Travel through the jungle. Take your baby on an adventure.
The third level is the Gold Coast. The main place is a restaurant. The design of the huge shipwreck at the bottom of the sea can be said to be unique and very spacious. It's not bad to have a snack here when you're tired. In addition, there are often exciting live performances at the Rotten Apple Theater and the Deep Sea Theater. You can keep an eye on the attractions announced for specific times of the day and check them out.
Recommended food, First World's Kingdom of Gourmets
For lunch, the Banyan Hall box at the First World Hotel. It's in a corner of the hotel's atrium, and it's especially refreshing to enjoy the food from the box's floor-to-ceiling glass windows, as well as the thick greenery outside.
The restaurant introduces new dishes every once in a while, so you won't get bored how many times you come. The food we had that day was all newly introduced Thai flavors. The hot and sour was very appetizing and the dishes were small and fresh.
Of course, not all the dishes are spicy, there are also light flavors such as crispy mango chicken, pineapple seafood fried rice, and Vietnamese emerald rolls. All are light, soft and kid-friendly. Bao Shi Yu especially likes the freshly squeezed pineapple juice here, and it's especially satisfying to hold a whole large pineapple in your hand.
Steamed fish with lime is one of my favorite dishes in Thailand. The fish used here is kumquat. The sauce is sweet and sour and the fish is delicious. It is more flavorful compared to the traditional braised fish.
Thai Curry Crab, Red Curry Beef, Green Curry Seasonal Vegetarian Chicken, Tom Yum Goong Soup, all the classic Thai dishes you want are here. And the ingredients are so well chosen and the flavors so authentic that even the presentation of the plates takes a lot of thought.
Dinner, buffet at the hotel's Thai Xiangge restaurant. As I mentioned more than once in my travelogue, when traveling with babies, buffet is the most hassle-free and reasonable way to eat. Thanks to the wide selection of dishes, kids can consume comprehensive and balanced nutrition during the trip.
The restaurant is also decorated in the style of a tropical jungle, and even before we officially dined, we could smell the hot and laid-back atmosphere unique to Southeast Asia.
There is a popular and practical rule about the hotel's seafood buffet. The hotel's seafood buffet makes us secretly happy, salmon sashimi, tuna sashimi, scallops, sea rainbow, knife amount of new shrimp and so on not to mention. You can also grill shrimp steak on the spot in the open file, foodies can open their bellies and have a feast on the tongue.
Even if it is a buffet, there is no shortage of Thai food. Although I have eaten hotel buffets, but really rarely eat Thai food.
There are various kinds of Japanese sushi neatly arranged in front of the sake barrel. Whether you eat it or not, it looks good.
The restaurant also provides baby seats and baby dishes. Even the corners of our dining table were wrapped in the hotel's soft and flexible protective material to protect babies from accidental injuries. Details praise! Bao Shi Language naturally ate happily as her aunt ate and danced while watching the show in her beautiful ethnic costume, which has always been her favorite. It is estimated that this meal will be eaten for months.
Practical Strategies
The places we visited this time were all in Hangzhou's Xiaoshan District, just across the Qiantang River from downtown Hangzhou. The advantage was that it wasn't as crowded, but because there was a subway around, it was easy to get anywhere. When we arrived at our hotel in Shanghai, we chose to drive. There is a large parking lot in front of the hotel and parking for guests is free. It is very, very close to Hangzhou Paradise and Rotten Apple Paradise, just a few hundred meters walk away.
Food:
This time, we all ate at the hotel. If we were hungry in the scenic area, we would buy some drinks and snacks. Both Hangzhou Paradise and Rotten Apple Paradise have their own restaurants and kiosks. Please refer to the body of the travelogue for more details. All in all, Hangzhou is well equipped with convenient amenities to eat and drink no matter which attraction you visit.
Other nearby attractions:

On entering the room, we were greeted by a spacious 40-square-meter space with ample bright lighting design. Then go on a treasure hunt with Soyo to explore the Tinker Bell elements of the house. Although Suki's current favorite anime character is Piglet, Tinkerbell was our childhood favorite when we were little. I didn't want to miss out on every comic book and manga, and I never thought that one day I would be able to stay in a Tinker Bell themed room.
