Changsha Normal University is an undergraduate institution.

Changsha Normal University (Changsha Normal University) is a provincial public undergraduate institution, the history of the school can be traced back to the Changsha County Teachers' Training School founded by the famous educator Xu Teli in 1912, in April 2013, the school was formally upgraded from a specialized institution to a bachelor's degree school, named Changsha Normal University.

According to its official website in April 2018, the school now has two campuses in the south (Xingsha) and north (Ansha), with a campus area of 11,533,500 acres, a building area of 394,800 square meters, and teaching, scientific and research instruments and equipment valued at 74,106,300 yuan.

There are 13 teaching units, offering 52 majors and specialties, with the undergraduate majors covering seven major disciplines: education, art, literature, science, engineering, management, and economics; more than 15,000 full-time undergraduates and graduates; and 772 active faculty members.

Teaching Achievements:

In 2005, the school was awarded the "Outstanding Organization Prize" for its participation in the first art exhibition for university students in Hunan Province.

In all colleges and universities in the province, the school ranked fifth in the first and second prizes, and topped the list of all colleges and universities.

Participating in the National College Students' Art Exhibition, the chorus "Sister Flower" won the second prize, and the dance "Innocence" won the third prize, and the school was awarded the national "Excellent Organization Award".

In Hunan Province, the FUTUER student group won the seventh place in the final of the "Songs of All Colleges and Universities" competition, and was awarded the "Best Performance Prize". In 2010, the school activities in Hunan Province higher education provincial teaching achievement award, a provincial higher education teaching achievement first prize, a provincial higher education teaching achievement second prize.
