According to the legend of Amao's ancient history, in ancient times, Miao ancestors attacked from Lesemifu because of the enemy's lightning island, and they could not defeat the enemy through fierce fighting, so they moved to the direction of the south wind. On the way from north to south, the ancestors of Miao nationality rode cattle across the Yellow River. In the evening, those who cross the river first are afraid that the latecomers will be separated, so they blow reeds, light bonfires and gather people together. In order to drive away the cold, people danced Lusheng dance with the melody of Lusheng. Lusheng, like the flute, is a close partner of Miao young men. In the Miao dance floor, it is common for young men to carry their flutes on their backs, or pin them on their belts and then play lusheng. Yunnan ethnic minorities believe that the ever-changing Lusheng tunes are the "writing" of Miao families. In the oblique mountains, lusheng rings and there are always songs and dances.
There are many references about the history of Lusheng dance activities in the past; Judging from the unearthed bronze figures of Lusheng dance in the Western Han Dynasty, Lusheng dance has a history of at least 2,000 years. Since the Ming and Qing dynasties, it has been more common in literature and local chronicles. Amin Niti's Nanzhao unofficial history records that every time Meng Ke jumps to the moon at the age of four, men play lusheng and women sing gongs in unison, dancing side by side for a whole day, tirelessly. It shows that Lusheng dance has long been an important part of Miao traditional festivals and has been popular for some time.

The Miao Golden Rooster Dance has a long history. It is said that the ancestors of Miao nationality in Gan 'ao branch lived in the eastern plain, then moved to a beach called Zhan 'ao Duishe, and went upstream to Danzhai County due to the flood. In the historical process of migration, it was the beautiful golden pheasant that helped the ancestors find the last place to settle down, and it was also she who brought the seeds of rice and created happy flying songs for the ancestors. After the Miao ancestors settled in Danzhai County, they cultivated fields and hunted to satisfy their hunger. Because the golden pheasant helped them get millet seeds and helped them survive the famine, it became their lucky star. Every year, Miao compatriots living in the above-mentioned places hold grand blowing sheng Moon Jumping activities in grand festivals, beating gongs and drums, jumping golden pheasants and flying bullfights to commemorate their ancestors and beautiful golden pheasants that bring them freedom, peace and joy.
In this way, year after year, handed down from generation to generation, passed down to this day. In daily life, Miao compatriots, especially female compatriots, in addition to work, in their spare time, they will carefully embroider various Hua Niaowen patterns with various colored threads, sew bird clothes, weave ribbons, embroider shoes and prepare silver ornaments. On festive occasions, especially at the Lusheng party, I saw women towering into the sky, wearing golden rooster and silver ornaments on their heads, short embroidered dresses with cardigans on their upper bodies, and short pleated skirts embroidered on their lower bodies (some are colored embroidered short pleated skirts and some are embroidered pleated long skirts). The front and back of the skirt are tied with a rectangular flower waist, the back waist is tied with various hand-woven flower ribbons, a silver collar is tied around the neck, and silver bracelets are worn on the hands and feet. When dancing Lusheng dance, with the rhythm of Lusheng melody, the golden rooster on the woman's head is eager to fly, the silver horn crown is shaking bit by bit, the flowers on her legs are flashing, and the white feathers at the foot of the pleated skirt are flying, which looks like the golden rooster spreading its wings and dancing, just like the partridge dance recorded in ancient times. Therefore, the folk call it Golden Rooster Dance.

Drum dragon drum tiger robe dragon has a long history, which has a history of more than 1000 years. Originated from the worship of dragons by flower seedlings since ancient times. Dragons can call the wind and rain, devour the sun and the moon, make the world better, and solve problems for the Miao people. They are gods they worship. It is said that Miao Hua's ancestors were able to find this treasure land of Gusa, reproduce dozens of generations of descendants, and prosper, all thanks to the help and blessing of the Dragon God.
Miao Hua was originally from Zhu Shi Lane, Jiangxi, and later went into exile in Guizhou. She moved to Radish Village in Guiding County via the river in Kaiyang County. In a farming activity, the old ancestors heard the sound of the crake, estimated that there was water, and looked for it one by one. They found a natural dragon-shaped well, thinking that the dragon god helped guide the way and moved to the village to open up wasteland, thus building Gusa village. In order to thank the dragon god for his gift, Lao Gongzu made a village rule: every year on the first day of February in the solar calendar, the village is closed (strangers and outsiders are not allowed to enter the village) to kill cattle and sacrifice to the dragon god. They imitate Jackie Chan, dance like dragons and pray for Long Fuyou. People's piety touched the gods, and the gods taught them to make lusheng, and taught them to dance long-sleeved lusheng with dragon and lusheng. Since then, this dance has spread among Miao Chinese compatriots. This is one of many legends about the origin of drum dragon and tiger, a long-sleeved dragon.
According to the Ming Dynasty Xiong's History of Zhongxing in the Great Song Dynasty, in the Song Dynasty, Heimanlong followed Yue Fei in resisting gold and was named General Dragon and Tiger. Later, because Yue Fei and his son Feng Boting were killed, they cried and fasted for several days and died. People use the drum, dragon and tiger robes handed down from generation to generation to commemorate this Miao hero.
