Those days of living near the sea

Because of my work, I have lived near the beach for a long time; because of living near the beach, I have met many interesting people, who are like a dream, appearing at a specific time and a specific place, and once that time and place are over, they are only memories.

Here, I did a lot of things I had never done before, and saw myself in a way I had never seen before.

In more than 4 months, we experienced the hot sun, rainstorms, and typhoons under the same sky; we experienced being questioned by the border staff and blocked by the villagers when we measured on the side of the highway; we did our own work in a small office, feeling the sea breeze blowing in from the window in the morning; we had a meeting at night until two o'clock to discuss things big and small; a dozen or so people went to the neighbor's house to pick pineapple nectar and longan, and came back to fill a sack; we played basketball together and played with a lot of people. A sack; together playing basketball, square dancing, swimming in the sea, running on the ground under the feet and taste the salty flavor not into the sea; and swallows ate unknown Vietnamese snacks, when the name is known, the two ran to the garbage cans to dry-heave.

There is also a pure water seller sister, hospitable people, always invite me to her home as a guest, and sometimes bring pineapple honey and passion fruit when delivering water. She knew that I had a cold and specially picked some herbs for me, saying that they were good medicine for colds. We often communicate in simple vernacular, and although there are some regional differences in tone, there is still an indescribable sense of closeness.

In order to see the sunrise, I got up at 5:00 a.m., stood alone at the edge of the faintly lit highway and waited for the first bus, and came to the beach just in time for them to go out to the sea to fish, and the sunlight was on their bodies, and it was a magical beauty. When they came back from the sea when the net is full of seafood, crabs, shrimp, all kinds of fish, cleaned up after picking full of seafood to catch the morning market.

Like the sea to see the sunrise, has always been on the sea sunrise has a kind of inexplicable desire, perhaps this desire is from Mr. Bajin's "sea sunrise". Just arrived at the beach, the sky is still very light and light blue, with the sun slowly rising from sea level, the red haze slowly spread around, the sky is a large red, the sunlight sprinkled on the sea, the beach, the fishermen's body, as if it is giving them the power of nature. As the hour hand turns, the sunlight slowly fades until the red haze disappears, ushering in a new day.

When the fishermen came back from the sea, lifting out the day's harvest from the boat, full of crabs, fish and other seafood, the family sat down on the beach to divide up the work and deal with it, the husband took the crabs out, while his wife tied them up with a rope next to him and put them on a big plate, I sat down to help, and also chatted with them, and my wife looked at me and smiled, and sometimes she made babbling noises, and I realized that she couldn't speak, and I seriously I looked at the couple, perhaps because of the seaside sunshine for many years, the wife wearing a bamboo hat, face around a piece of sun cloth, barefoot, roll up the pants, and quickly took the crabs handed over by the husband, the husband's dark face hides a few fine lines, he spoke a not very standard Mandarin, whenever tourists ask about the price of the crabs, he always have to say several times the other side to understand.

Meet a sister on the beach, a sister whose beauty and talent coexist, when she was young she traveled a lot of places by herself, learning and experiencing along the way, and returned to her hometown last year to open up a seaside bed and breakfast, and her bed and breakfast is very distinctive, and it's a style that I like.

The first time I met her, she was sitting at the front desk of the B&B reading a book, it was thinking, what kind of woman is this, after years of precipitation, temperament all in the bones. She cooks good tea, knows all kinds of dances, and what I love most is to see her dancing on the beach or on a boat in her Jing costume, her clothes and the sea as one, watching the sea and the sky, watching her dance up and down.

She said that after wandering around for a long time, she wanted to go back to her hometown to open a small store on the beach and spend the rest of her life in the wilderness, and I think that was her shallow time, and also her years at sea.

Lots and lots of years from now, I'm going to open a bed and breakfast, calm and uninteresting, meet people coming and going, and listen to them talk about stories from all over the world.
