Seeking the name of a movie about an art school enrollment with drama, dance, musical instruments, and singing

Hello students! Are you looking for: the movie Fame

The movie Fame, also known as "Fame" and "Fly High With Me". 'Fame' has a lot of characters, a group of students in an art high school. Through the narration of their 4 years of school life, it shows every aspect of this group of young people who are struggling for their dreams, and the movie itself is more of a portrayal and depiction of this group of characters. Here is the character analysis:

Montgomery Macneil:

Montgomery? Macneil, the only son of a famous actress and a student in an acting class, is the first character to appear. A monologue leads the audience into the film, and when you first hear his monologue, you think he's really a cadet, because he talks so emotionally about being separated from his mother and meeting her, but you soon realize it's an audition, and he's just reading lines. But Montgomery's feelings do ring true; his mother, who is a famous actress, is always on tour, and he lives alone in a large, empty apartment. Montgomery may have had a bit of an Oedipal complex, and he may have inherited his acting talent from his mother. Throughout the movie, Montgomery almost never shows any strong emotion; all he shows is melancholy, even when he is recounting his most painful experiences. As he himself says, "As a homosexual, I will never be truly happy; but I will never be unhappy either." Falling in love with his psychiatrist, a desperate love that could not be reciprocated made him feel even more miserable than his father's outing and his mother's first long-distance journey, but this melancholic temperament gave him credentials as an actor. Montgomery's only emotional outlet is the night of Rocky Horror Picture Party, when his friends go to the movies but he sits alone in front of the window of his apartment, playing his guitar and singing, the neon light from the window shining down on him, but all the hustle and bustle is far away from him, and when he is melancholic he is isolated, and there is perhaps only one reason for him to be less lonely, Doris Finsecker.

Doris Finsecker:

Doris? Finsecker, traditional girl from a Jewish family, acting class student. Her reason for taking the High School for the Performing Arts is simply because her family's circumstances don't allow her to attend any other high school with expensive tuition. Conservative Doris, like all girls from traditional Jewish families, has a doting and strict mother, and she starts out looking younger and shyer than any of her classmates. Somewhat by sheer luck, on her first day of high school she is intimidated by the wild dances at lunch break, and exiting the dining room she stumbles upon Montgomery, who is just as shy as she is, on the stairs, setting up a friendship between the two. School life is real growth for Doris, and the subject of acting allows her to shed her shy self and become someone else. Sitting in the snow with Montgomery, holding a fake baby and crying, or walking down the street begging as a blind man (a coin was given to Doris in the belief that she was buying Montgomery a cup of coffee, laughs) were things that Doris would never have dreamed of doing before. The Rocky Horror Picture Show was the biggest moment of transformation for her, when she ran on stage and sang and danced with the other girls, and no one could believe that it was the same overly well-behaved Jewish girl who had followed her mother around three years earlier. The other, even bigger transformation was when she fell in love with Ralph Garci, whom she had originally seen most as an enemy.

Ralph Garci:

Ralph Garci? Garci, formerly known as Raul Garcia, is a Puerto Rican native and acting class student. He has taken it upon himself to change his original name and speaks English at home, seemingly out of distaste for his heritage. Worshipping comedy stars and being overly active, Rafe comes to the High School for the Performing Arts and gets kicked out of the instrumental and dance classes, only to end up in the acting class, a place that really suits him. Rafe reveals his cynical nature when he first enrolls, causing both Doris and Montgomery to fear him as an enemy. On the day that Montgomery reveals his sexual orientation, he deliberately cross-dresses to tease Montgomery and Doris, but he is such a nuisance that he ends up gaining Montgomery's friendship and Doris's love. Rafe's deadliest virtue is his humor, but it's a dark humor, a humor that laughs when it should be crying, a humor that is uniquely Puerto Rican and painful. Rafe's biting satire of the Puerto Rican district earned a riot of laughter from the crowd: "A place where even dogs carry knives, and a random boy is asked about his future aspirations, and he'll answer 'I want to be a retired drug lord' ...... " Rafe hid his true feelings so well that they only erupted the night after Rocky Horror Party, after his little sister, who was only five years old, was attacked. Rafe's crying was unbelievable to Doris and Montgomery, and they were even more unbelievable that such a man who smiled all day long had such a tragic past. The love affair between Rafe and Doris begins in a peculiar way, and at first the audience must have thought that Doris and Montgomery would become a couple, but, although it was Montgomery who invited Doris to the Rocky Horror Picture Party in the first place, it was Rafe who actually ended up going with Doris. Rafe just wants to be a comedy star, but Doris and Montgomery know that he has more than just the gift of being funny, and that his deep-seated pain can make him a better actor.

Leroy Johnson:

Leroy? Johnson, a dance class student. As you can see from his back-and-forth with his English teacher, Leroy was just a street kid before he joined the school; he had no fixed abode, no education, couldn't read or write much, and didn't even speak standard English, but he had a superhuman talent for dancing. This is how Rilo, who accompanied his friend to the audition, was noticed by the dance teacher: "He doesn't have an enrollment form? Then fill one out for him." This common coincidence in life changed his destiny. Lillo begins to work toward becoming a professional dancer, and when he dumps an entire bucket of garbage into his friends' car, it shows that he is determined to make a break with his old life. In addition, Rilo has what his teacher describes as a "wicked" charm, and he seems to delight in making girls jealous of him. When he goes out with a beautiful white girl, he ends up angering Coco, a black girl who has a crush on him.

Coco:

Coco is a multi-talented black girl, a student in the dance class. A student in a dance class. Coco describes herself as "dancing is only one of my specialties, and I may be a Broadway musical actress in the future". Indeed, Coco is not only good at dancing, but also has a beautiful voice and plays the piano well. Her family is not mentioned in the movie, but it is obvious that she is also from a poor family, although she does not want to admit it. Coco is always looking for a chance to become famous, she organizes bands to perform during the holidays, she is forced to shed tears when she takes off her blouse during auditions, all for the sake of Fame - Fame in all directions. Coco's singing voice recurs throughout the movie, as she keeps singing about her dream of stardom, and the dream of stardom of all these students. Appearing in tandem with her singing is Bruno Martelli's score.

Bruno Martelli:

Bruno? Martelli, instrumental music student. Bruno loves electronic synthesizers and composing, and at his initial audition, he startled his teacher by bringing those big piles of equipment. "I'm the only one who's going to be in the band in the future," Bruno said, believing in his own abilities, and the teacher had to ask him to "play one instrument at a time". Bruno is lucky to have an understanding and supportive father, a lovely cab driver who not only happily spends money on expensive equipment for his son, but even comes to school with a tweeter in his car to play his son's music, causing traffic jams and fights with the other drivers - this is one of the most frenetic moments in the movie! This is the most frenetic group dance scene in the movie. When Coco comes to Bruno to organize the band, he teases Coco for being flat-chested, but they soon become friends. The scene where Coco plays a Bruno song on the piano is one of the film's most heartwarming moments.

Lisa Monroe:

Lisa? Monroe, a dance class student. She is a loser whose dreams are dashed before they even begin. Because she didn't try hard enough, she ended up being talked out of school. Anytime, anywhere, there are always people who fail. The reason for Lisa's failure is that she herself did not really realize the significance of dance and did not have a clear direction for the future.

Three Keywords: 'Rocky Horror Picture Party'

Montgomery, Doris, and Rafe undergo major transformations before and after this movie. Doris and Rafe's falling in love, Rafe's outburst of true feelings, and Montgomery's catharsis of loneliness all take place during this time period. Especially Montgomery's bouncing - everyone goes through something similar, friendship automatically takes a backseat when your best friend starts falling in love, not to mention that the two people who are now in love are both Montgomery's best friends. Montgomery feels lonely and becomes an extra third presence in the duo world of Doris and Rafe, but then in the midst of Rafe's demoralization, it is Montgomery's position of being a friend that helps Rafe more than Doris, who has turned into the status of a lover.

Beautiful Transfer Student:

Dance Class Student. This transfer student caused a stir among the boys on her first day at school, partly because of her outstanding

beauty and partly because of her wealthy family - after all, most students don't report to school in a fancy RV. It's unclear

exactly what kind of mindset she went for with Rilo, who was easily

captured when she danced a beautiful ballet solo. The look of mingled surprise and fear in her father's and stepmother's eyes when she brought Rilo home must have given her a

satisfied thrill. But there was also a huge contrast between the pride she showed in her conversation with the jealous Coco and her helpless

tears in front of the psychiatrist afterwards. She is an excellent ballet dancer who is confused about her future, and she doesn't know what to do when she wants to use her power

of confirming that she is not dependent on her family.

The characters are told, but I have to go back to the two plots in the story that I think are the most important:

One: The Rocky Horror Party

Montgomery, Doris, and Rafe all undergo major transformations before and after this movie. Doris and Rafe's falling in love, Rafe's outburst of true feelings, and Montgomery's catharsis of loneliness all take place during this time period. Especially with Montgomery's bouncing - everyone goes through something similar, friendship automatically takes a back seat when your best friend starts falling in love, not to mention the fact that the two people who are now in love are both close friends of Montgomery's. Montgomery feels lonely and becomes an extra third presence in the duo world of Doris and Rafe, but then in the midst of Rafe's demoralization, it is Montgomery's position of being a friend that helps Rafe more than Doris, who has turned into the status of a lover.

And then there's this: the graduation ceremony

The graduation ceremony is a time when the students come together to sing songs about their dreams, which of course have only just begun, and as their teacher said when they were first enrolled in the school:

"Dance is the hardest profession in the world."

"Acting is the hardest profession in the world."

"Instrumental music is the hardest profession in the world."

Think back to the group of teenagers at the beginning of the movie and look at the youth at this point. They were born differently, their families were different, their personalities were different, and the only thing they had in common was their pursuit of the dream of music and dance. The teenagers' dreams began to spread their wings from this point on ......
