When do you plan to return home?

Part of one

◆ ◆ ◆? ◆

Early summer nights, the heat has quietly taken over the room. Once again, I was chatting with a friend about when to leave Beijing.

It is impossible to stay in Beijing for a lifetime, the question is when to leave? The problem is when to leave, and where to go after that? The first thing you need to do is to get a new one, or go back to your hometown.

With this unanswered question, we hung up our voices and fell asleep.

The stark truth is that we may be unemployed when we return home.

I teach the TOEFL test, but we don't have a TOEFL study abroad organization in our hometown, and very few people even go abroad to study in high school or undergraduate. I'd probably have to start from scratch to get a program and become a teacher in the town's public school (not always possible). To be even more extreme, maybe my mom would need to go ahead and buy a case of NutriQuick, knock on the door of the principal's house that lives above ours, and ask the principal's his wife, with a big smile on her face, if she could have the opportunity to be a substitute teacher at the school.

Schoolmates work in investment banks in Shanghai, and there isn't a decent investment bank in her hometown for her to put down roots. The financial industry can only work like a fish out of water in places like Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, and you may only be able to sign up for a few WeChat numbers and sell financial products while flirting with big clients online.

There are also many friends in the media industry who don't have media in their hometowns. "The biggest media team there is the square dancing mothers, who collect gossip from all over the county and spread it throughout the city."

Even if you go home and barely find a job, the pay is hardly satisfactory.

When your salary in a big city is more than a month's salary in a small city, it's psychologically difficult to accept going back to your hometown to work. The salary is high because the platform is good, the city is good, usually people from small cities come to the big city, the income will be higher. But there are also people who have had unexpected results because their ability has run into luck. Plus the upside of the treatment is so high that last year you might have been earning a few dozen dollars an hour, and this year you've doubled it tenfold.

When my friend first came to Beijing, she had to live in a 9-square-meter loft in the back of a building far from her company. I used to share a room with her, and the two of us really lived like an idol novel, "wherever you are, I'm only a turn away from you".

The crampedness of 9 square meters can't be the memory of a person's mobility, but that year, she found her true self. A year later she got a promotion and a raise, moved to the neighborhood next to the company, and had a 12 square meter room. Although it wasn't big either, there was a window next to the bed where sunlight could leak in. This extra 3 square meters, she relied on her own efforts to get.

Having lived in a room with an expensive rent in Beijing, she is used to having a large surplus of her monthly salary after paying the rent. If you go back to your hometown and get a monthly salary that is only half of the rent in Beijing, it's hard to get motivated to work anymore.

It's hard to come across so many cowboys when you're back home.

Some people say, you know the bull, not necessarily prove that you are bull ah.

Yes, you know the bulls, it does not necessarily appear that you have much bull, but it can motivate you to become more bull.

In an interview five years ago, I met a great schoolteacher whose fluency in speaking y shocked me. I chatted with her after the interview and she gave me some tips on practicing speaking. Maybe she has no memory of that conversation, but I remembered it in my words and it subconsciously influenced my actions.

My friend started out working in Beijing with the mindset of reading the newspaper, drinking tea, and playing soy sauce, and after work, she went shopping with her colleagues to get her hair done, and she was able to follow the company's large army of subsidized outbound trips, which was quite relaxing. But gradually she realized that the days are not right.

This is not good enough to penetrate into the daily life of the little by little, to help the leadership to organize the department staff resume, found that a clear VCU education, and their own college English online teacher, suddenly become a living person, often appear in front of her.

She was suddenly woken up by the whip.

As a result, the frequency of doing her hair and shopping after work was reduced, and replaced by punching the clock of word memorization software and English online classes.

Although most of the time people choose to rather be the head of the chicken than the tail of the phoenix, it is often the case that things go against their wishes to enter an unsatisfactory environment and gradually degenerate into the tail of the chicken. In an environment where there are a lot of cows, we are also positively and positively influenced. They treat cattle as a verb rather than an adjective, they treat cattle as a dynamic process rather than a static state, so that people can truly realize that "people who are better than you also work harder than you". In this kind of environment, even if it's not good, it's still a phoenix tail.

Seeing those who live in the old country, have a car and a house and object, leisurely and comfortable, do I envy?

Yes, I am jealous!

They realized early on what many people working in big cities struggle all their lives to achieve - a car and a house.

But I think leaving home to live alone is like encountering rain, which wets you and nourishes you.

Maugham wrote in Blade that you will eventually become the person you are becoming, and that every choice you make is an interrogation from the meaning of your life.

Whether we choose to leave home or stay home, we all have a bright future ahead of us.
