Teacher's Day is a day to thank teachers. Festivals in different countries and regions have different dates, namely, September 10 in People's Republic of China (PRC) and September 28 in Taiwan Province Province, China. The word has two meanings, "it refers to both a social role and the undertaker of this role".
Teachers in a broad sense refer to those who impart knowledge and experience, while teachers in a narrow sense refer to those who have received special education and training and are engaged in education and teaching in education (schools).
A teacher in a narrow sense refers to a professional who has received special education and training, taught students scientific and cultural knowledge and skills, developed students' physique, educated students in ideology and morality, cultivated students' noble aesthetic taste, and trained the educated into talents needed by society.
According to the fact that social division of labor and school education are the main forms of education, teachers are defined as professionals entrusted by society to exert a specific influence on students' body and mind at school and cultivate them into people needed by a certain society.
