Licheng District (formerly Jinjiang County, Quanzhou District) is a district under the jurisdiction of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. Licheng District is one of the urban areas in Quanzhou, which is named after the ancient city looks like a carp. It was once called "Quanzhou" in history. Quanzhou Plain, located in the lower reaches of Jinjiang River, borders Fengze District in the east and north, Nan 'an City in the west and north, and Jinjiang City in the west and south.

Fengze District (formerly Jinjiang County, Quanzhou) is a district under the jurisdiction of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. Fengze District is the core area of modern industrial and trade port city in the economic zone on the west side of the Taiwan Strait, and the core area of Quanzhou central city, with a total area of 126.5 square kilometers and a total population of 548,000. It has jurisdiction over 8 streets and 74 communities, including East China Sea, East China Sea, North Peak and Central Group, which are planned in the central city of Quanzhou.

Luojiang River, a tributary of Xijiang River and Liujiang River in the Pearl River system, originated in Jitouling, Huang San Township, Yongfu County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and sneaked into the ground near Jiangtou Village in Yongfu County, flowing through Gaopo Village in Zhongdu Town, about 0.5 km from the ground in Xiangzhaoyan Village, then sneaked into the rock belly in Xiangqiaoyan, surfaced again in Tongmutun Village of Dazhao Village, flowed through Zhongdu Town and Huangmian Township, and merged into Luojiang River in Laojie Village.

Quangang District (formerly Hui 'an County, Quanzhou) is a district under the jurisdiction of Quanzhou City, Fujian Province. Before 1996, it belonged to Huibei area of Hui 'an, and was set aside from Hui 'an County in 2000 as a separate district. It covers an area of 306 square kilometers and has a population of 360,000. Quangang District is planned to be a modern petrochemical port city and a pilot area of petrochemical industry in Fujian Province. Xiaocuo Port within its jurisdiction is a natural harbor and a new port in Quanzhou, hence the name Quangang District. Fuzhou-Xiamen Expressway (Fujian section of Tongshan Expressway) and National Highway 324 pass through the territory.

Quanzhou is a multi-ethnic area. Besides the Han nationality, there are 48 ethnic minorities, namely Hui, Mongolian, Tibetan, Uygur, Miao, Yi, Zhuang, Buyi, Korean, Manchu, Dong, Yao, Bai, Tujia, Hani, Kazak, Dai, Li and Lisu. Han nationality accounts for 97.8% of the total population, and ethnic minorities account for 2.2%, mainly Hui, She, Miao and Mongolian.

There are high-quality tree species in the subtropical rain forest, such as Castanopsis kawakamii, Mijun, Astragalus, Abidingfeng, and red bean trees. Evergreen broad-leaved forest includes Castanopsis fargesii, Ding Feng, Astragalus membranaceus, Cinnamomum camphora and Phoebe bournei. Secondary vegetation is mainly Pinus massoniana, Schima superba and Liquidambar formosana. The top of the mountain is dominated by evergreen dwarf forest, and the upper layer is dominated by Pinus taiwanensis. Coastal vegetation is dominated by Kandelia candel and bones.
