Modern Poems About Trees

1. "The Tree"

One Tree, One Tree

Lone and apart from each other

The wind and the air

Tells their distance

But under the earth

Their roots grow

Unseen and unseen

.

They entwine their roots together

2. "A Blossoming Tree"

Author: Modern Poet Ximurong

How can I make you meet me

At my most beautiful moment

For this ? I have begged the Buddha for five hundred years

for it to let us have an earthly relationship

The Buddha then turned me into a tree

growing by the roadside where you must pass

discreetly blooming in the sunlight

each one is the hope I had in my past life

When you come closer

Please listen carefully

The trembling leaves are the passion I am waiting for

And you finally walk by unnoticed

After you fall to the ground

Friends, that's not the petals

It's my fading heart

3. To the Oak Tree

Author: Modern Poet Shu Ting

If I love you--

Never be like the climbing campsis,

Take advantage of your high branches to flaunt yourself;

If I love you- -

Never like the infatuated bird,

repeating monotonous songs for the green shade;

Nor more than like the fountain,

which sends cool consolations all the year round;

Nor more than like the perilous peaks,

which add to your height and set off your majesty.

Even daylight, even spring rain.

To the Oak Tree is a love poem written in March 1977 by Shu Ting. It is one of the masterpieces of the Misty Poetry School, and as the genesis of the new period of literature, "To the Oak Tree" is self-evident in literary history.

4. "I am Proud to be a Tree"

Author: Li Ying, a modern writer

I am proud to be a tree,

I am a tree that grows on the bank of the Yellow River,

I am a tree that grows at the foot of the Great Wall;

I can tell many, many stories,

I can sing many, many songs.

The mountains taught me to stand tall,

I am strong and determined;

The sea taught me to be frank and majestic,

I will always live with integrity;

The rays of light and the dewdrops of dew

gave me a beautiful heart;

The burning sun and the wind and snow

creates the character of my struggle;

I embrace the

freedom of the atmosphere and the free wind,

and in me, will, strength and ideals,

are tightly and tightly fused.

I am a part of the vast fields, a part of nature,

Me and beauty are one and inseparable;

I belong to the people, to history,

I long for the whole world

to serve as a home for our **** together!

"I am Proud to be a Tree" was written by writer Li Ying in 1980. It is now selected as the twenty-fourth lesson in the fifth unit of the eighth grade lower volume of the National Curriculum Standard Experimental Textbook Language Su Education Edition. Its eponymous collection of poems won the first prize in the first National Poetry Collection Selection in 1983.

5. A Tree

Author: Purple Wind Chime

A tree

stands in the wind for a long time

only to wait for

when the mountains and the setting sun shake hands

that a touch of drunken red clouds

but who knows, every time, it is not too late to go to the green

that point of red, that part of the drift

in a hurry

and then the tree will be in a hurry

and then it will be in a hurry

This is the first time for the tree to be in a hurry.

It was in a hurry to

disappear in the palm of the night

Long night slowly

The wind and rain are relentless

Even if the branches are dappled and broken

Also not moving in the silk lines

"A Tree" is a modern poem created by the author of Purple Chimes, which started to be published in on October 8th, 2007 and is now completed.
