*Another Tim

Tim, who has been practicing for a long time to stand in front of the public as a singer, has finally taken his first step towards the public.

Who is Tim, with his LIVE singing power, charming voice and warm smile?

MTV, the world's leading music channel, selected Tim as the star of the show in a year.

Tim's World is a 24-hour, undefeated effort to bring Tim's world to life before he releases his album.

MTV has actually produced artists like Ricky Martin, Christine and Shakira.

Tim will also be appearing in a number of promotional events and is expected to be active in the future.

Singer, music, and Tim's firm words:

If I were to become a singer overnight, my answer would be "NO."

This is the Tim who will never give in to the world of music. JOURNAL

From Tim to Hwang Young-min, from America to Korea, from pharmacist to singer

Hwang Young-min had just finished his first day of classes at Temple University when he got the call. The producer admired his record samples. Was he going to fly to Korea for an audition? That was the beginning.

Raised on pretzels, cheese, and steak in a small town near Philadelphia, Hwang is a typical 18-year-old who plays stickball, listens to Brian Mcknight CDs, and wants to be a pharmacist.

Sitting in the lounge of the Sheraton Hotel in Los Angeles in a black T-shirt, jeans and a Gucci cap, Wong, 26, says: "By then my life was set, and I chose pharmacy because it seemed stable. You don't need to be called up at 3 a.m. It really wasn't my style to change my original plan.

But today, surrounded by the wireless devices of his entourage of producers and agents, serendipity revolutionized the second day of his college life. How exactly did a phone call change his life ...... In South Korea, Hwang is known as, with his soul-piercing songs and pretty teenage face, making women go crazy for him at concerts. Willing to do anything for his music to become a career, he is in the midst of a growing contingent of Korean-Americans entering the Korean show business.

"The second generation of Korean-Americans don't have a lot of stars to follow, so they listen to Korean music, they watch Korean shows, and they think, maybe I could be like that." Tim says. And they did that. With their faces on billboards and their songs at the top of the charts, these young artists are making a name for themselves in Seoul. But success isn't that easy. Most of them have had to overcome homesickness, language and cultural barriers, rigorous training programs and identification. During a short break in the U.S. at a Korean-American celebrity gathering, Hwang was busy promoting his fourth album, "Love Is," a longing vocal interpretation of crushes and separated lovers.

Of his whirlwind tour, he said, "It's crazy, it's not a life I'm living. It's the life of a celebrity."

The Interview

Wong's story is also one of destiny. As a teenage singer in high school and the son of a pastor, Wong often sang religious songs at church gatherings. One Sunday morning, a friend from Korea who came to church visited his home. Sitting in the church pew, he listened to Hwang's voice and became mesmerized.

The man was a producer from JM Entertainment. He introduces himself and asks Wong to make an interview tape.

Hwang was shocked. He had never been to Korea and didn't speak Korean. But people always complimented him on his talent. He always thought his singing voice was for God.

Using the music equipment at church, Hwang sang the Tony Rich Project song "Nobody Knows," recording it to tape. He sent the tape package to South Korea.

A few days later, he got the call, and the rest was his decision. He prayed about it and talked to his parents, who decided to support him however he chose. Wong explained, "It may sound silly, but I just wanted to try it. People might laugh at me, but I had to try and I couldn't give up on this opportunity just because I was scared. I needed to take a step of faith."

And then he stepped onto the plane.

Becoming a star

Hwang arrived at JM Entertainment in Seoul, where the company asked him to sing to general manager Jeong.

After singing it, Jeong said, with a blank face, to take it. And ordered him to leave.

Wong then meets his new boss.

Hwang ended up signing the contract, and from then on, he began the intense practice of becoming a star. Despite having a private tutor to teach him, pronouncing the lyrics was still the hardest part. His first record, a single, took 24 hours to record.

Wong said, "I was singing about love, so the accent was important. I was always criticized. They'd say, 'Can you be famous if you keep this up?' Words like that... American-style training is with words of encouragement, like 'You can do it.' Korean style is very negative. They always say, 'You have to focus, you have to concentrate.' Every day is like a battlefield."

Life outside the studio isn't easy, either. Hwang, unfamiliar with Korean ways, felt isolated. He said, "I was always in a low state. At restaurants, I didn't make the right manners and people would stare at me. It's like you go to Korea and feel like you're neither fully Korean nor purely American. I was confused about identity. Everything is so stressful."

Little by little, Hwang's image began to change. Producers asked him to project an amiable, sweet image. They told him to pay attention to what he wore, how he acted, who he talked to. Soon, cameras were filming his every word for a real-life program that aired on MTV Korea. The name was "Tim' World." Tim said, "I told myself that I wasn't losing myself, but what drove me was that I wanted to find my true essence.

Life after fame

Shortly after Hwang's first album was released, his manager had some news: Tim was a hit. Tim was a hit. His lyric "I Love You" went to number one on the charts. Television stations across the country repeated the music video, which depicted the story of a shy salesman who longed for Huang's heart, but his heart was given to someone else. Standing alone at the end of the phone, Yellow's pounding swept gently across his forehead in the wind.

Recalling hearing children singing his songs in the area, Wong said : "My agent told me that you will live like this for the rest of your life. I felt so happy.""

Hwang went through a string of appearances on a variety of different programs, a standard strategy for stars to promote. In interviews, he often stammers over his Korean, but Kim says girls think that look is cute. Hwang admits he can't leave the house now without a hat covering his face. :

At the concert, which was broadcast across Asia, Hwang famously held the microphone close to his mouth when he went from one side to the other. He gazed intently into the distance, often erupting in falsetto somewhere in the song. fans screamed wildly. He ended the song with a humble bow and thank you iconic.

Of his success, Wong said, "I'm so grateful. Every time I see my Fans, I feel like I don't deserve what they do to me. I feel blessed when people say they would feel comfortable, inspired, or healed after listening to my songs. That may have always been my dream, but I used to think it wouldn't happen."

Tim was the last to appear at the Korean-American rally. In his tailless tuxedo, he looked more like a choir singer than a pop star. He held up a microphone and apologized for his English, despite the lack of a Korean accent. He said he hadn't performed in front of an American audience in a while. To the packed crowd, his humble demeanor was intriguing. He sang "I Love You" and several other songs. After the show, he was described as comfortable, but not too lively.

Hwang's most recent album, "Love Is...," is a mix of styles, with one lyric written by American artist Jamie Jones, a member of All-4-One, and a testament to the push for Korean stars to reach the global market. But Kim says it's risky for Hwang and many other stars to go completely American, and we have to recognize that the American music scene is on a completely different scale. In any case, for Brian and Tim, going American is not something they want to do right now. Hwang says he loves his life in Korea now, and looking back, he's sure he chose the right path. "I just want to make the best of what I have. If God directs me to go back, I'll go back, but right now, that's not my dream. This Tim is who I am now. I'm half Korean and half American. America is my home and Korea is my home." Hwang said.

From Pure Korea:

Tim, who will never give in to the world of music, graduated from Philadelphia's Temple University and is not fluent in Korean because he is a Korean American, but his song "I Love You" has touched the hearts of his fans, and he is loved for his excellent music and clean appearance. He is loved by everyone for his excellent music and clean appearance. His songs are sometimes sweet. Sometimes sad. But until his freshman year of college, he never thought of becoming a professional singer. Nevertheless, music was the most natural thing in his life. As a child, he was a member of the choir and participated in musical activities at school and church. When he had the opportunity to become a singer, he returned to Korea in 2003 to start his music career. "I feel lucky to be a singer. Because I can make music the most important part of my life," he said." He said. I'm not good at dance music, but I feel comfortable singing ballads because I can express more of my inner feelings," Tim said in an interview. "In an interview, Tim said, "I want my album to be like a veil that can hold people's tears, and then I can use it to listen to everyone's story." In life, what Tim has used to overcome his fragile emotions and tears is time, music and religion.Tim is a devout Christian and his father is a pastor. "I hope to be a singer for as long as time allows. I hope to end up being an encouragement to people. That's all I hope for." He said. The astrological description of Capricorn is: "An innate talent combined with hard work makes you a complete genius. You have confidence and hope in your life. "And his performance in various programs precisely proves his talent and self-confidence. Sports boy, popular KING KA, prince of love songs, elegant and polite, even dancing funny dances feel very romantic, and become the bottom of the gentleman chased by female guests, SJ's Han Geng was full of praise for him. Even JUNJIN of MythBusters recognizes him as a rival with full of talent. In high school, as a member of the National Merit Scholarship Association, he was the first male soprano in the choir and won the championship with the Philadelphia's oldest orchestra. He went on to be the first player on soprano saxophone in the jazz band for three consecutive years, the first conductor in the marching band, and trained with a modeling agency with a 50-year tradition. He was rightfully voted America's #1 High School Student of the Year. And he's been honored with much more than that. It makes him more or less proud, calm and introverted, with a gentle and light smile that is slightly admired, this is him on stage, but he is said to be very cute in private, and has a close relationship with the hilarious Kim Jong Min.

"Hahan GIR":

He is a man with LIVE singing power and deep charisma with a warm smile, he is the world's music channel MTV spent a year to select the most star like and strength of the music industry, he is a lot of girls in the heart of the gentle and considerate Prince Charming, but also back to the singing, in short, in 2006, he is what you can not know ---TIM. Tim's warm smile and calm demeanor is like a cup of pure, thirst-quenching water.

In 2002, Tim participated in an audition held by MTV, the world's leading music channel, and started his real career as a singer. The singers we know from MTV are the world's most famous singers, such as Ricky Martin, Christina, etc., and Tim is surely another shining star after them. After a year of formal study and training, Tim made his official debut in 2003.
