Wuhu Normal Affiliated Primary School was founded in 1964, formerly known as the Resistance Primary School, Huangguoshan Elementary School, renamed Wuhu Normal Affiliated Primary School in 1979. The school site is located in the river city of Wuhu silver lake in the middle of the road, north of Wuhu Yangtze River Bridge, Chery Automobile Manufacturing Plant, south of the ochre mountains, east of the two stations of the passenger plaza, west of the rolling Yangtze River, geographic location advantages as well as campus characteristics of the culture of the precipitation makes the school become the window of the education of Wuhu unit.

The school covers an area of 7768 square meters and the building area is 5576 square meters. It has a modern education technology center with a network management room, an electronic classroom, a network room, a network room, a multimedia network dual-use room, and more than 20 auxiliary rooms such as a moral education room, a library, a nature room, an art room, a music and dance room, a physical education room, an archive room, a hygiene room, a psychological counselling room, and a 2500-square-metre plastic playground equipped with a variety of physical activity facilities.
