Molly Weasley was the married wife of Arthur Weasley, a dedicated member of the Order of the Phoenix with six sons and one daughter, who participated in the Second Battle of Hogwarts. Prior to her marriage, she was known as Molly Prewitt. Gideon and Fabian Privette were her close relatives who were killed when Voldemort's forces first rose to power.
She was a very good cook and an expert at handling the tedious chores. She used to homeschool her children herself when they were in elementary school, and apparently did a very good job of it.
Basic introduction Chinese name: Molly Weasley Foreign name: Molly Weasley Alias: Molly Privette Weasley Nationality: British Date of Birth: October 30 Occupation: Witch Graduated from: Hogwarts Gryffindor Major achievements: participated in the second battle of Hogwarts, killed Bellatrix Character Biography, Family Relationships, Relevant Events, Investigation, Results, Players , Biography Molly has always coped well with her sons' pranks. She has a pair of elfin twins, George and Fred. She never saw the twins as being up to their own potential, as they were always making a mess around them with their little jokes and sweet pranks. She had argued with them on countless occasions. Once, she had even destroyed a bag of inventions they had put together to sell. Even her oldest son, Bill, gave her headaches because of his overly long hair and earrings, and she didn't like Bill's girlfriend, Fleur Delacour. Obviously, Molly liked Percy, who was always serious and middle-of-the-road-in other words, Percy never let her worry, but he broke his mother's heart this summer of 1995 when he turned his back on his family to throw himself on Fudge's side against Dumbledore. In any case, there was too much evidence that Molly loved her family very much. Her motherly love shone through in Harry as well, and she welcomed Hermione into their circle very warmly. When Harry and Hermione visited the humble abode, the Weasley's home in Ottery St. Catchpole, Devon, they were all part of the family. She always prepared sandwiches for the children to eat on the Hogwarts Express (though she often forgot that Ron didn't like corned beef), and gave her children a hand-knitted "Weasley sweater" in a different color every Christmas (though she always forgot that Ron didn't like dark fuchsia). Even across Scotland and Devon, her love remains intact: she sends Ron howler letters (Chamber of Secrets chapter 6). Portrait of Molly Weasley Molly would burst into a rage and yell at Fred and George (especially Fred), who were always getting into trouble and getting mediocre grades, and would even pummel Fred with a broomstick because the sour lollipop burned Ron's tongue. Would drop their trick products but also be happy with their business success, would worry about their well-being for the Black Magic Marker and cuddle them into a crash. But would blanch at the injury of their son George. When she lost her son Fred, the book depicts her trembling and crouching over Fred's body as her husband stroked her hair and burst into tears. Molly had always admired Percy, a model of academic excellence, her third son. But in the summer of 1995, when Percy was on bad terms with his family, she would weep alone. And while Percy's "Merry Christmas, Mom" when he brings Scrimgeour on an errand can bring tears to her eyes, Fred, George and Ginny's pranks (Percy rushes out of the house with tumbleweed root thrown in his eyes by the three of them) can make her sad over the smallest of things. At the last minute, Percy's awakening and participation in the war would make her hug him and cry. When the events of the Chamber of Secrets were at their worst (Ginny being brought into the Chamber), she would have been crying by Professor McGonagall's fire. But upon seeing an intact Harry, Ron, and Ginny, she would exclaim and hug her husband with her. Molly mentions that she started dating Arthur while she was a student and danced to a "corny dance song" before they married after graduation. Molly's hair is most likely red, although it is never actually mentioned. She is an undersized, chubby woman. However, when she is angry, she looks like a tower of steel, taller than her tallest son. (The original in the Chamber of Secrets states that when she was angry, all three of her sons trembled in fear.) Molly read Witch Weekly magazine to "find remedies". For a while, she was obsessed with Giedroy Lohart, until he was exposed as a fraud. Unfortunately, she didn't learn her lesson to stop believing everything she read. Upon reading the disgusting gossip that Rita Skeeter wrote about Hermione breaking Harry's heart out of thin air, Mollie treated Hermione coldly until she realized for herself that it was wrong to do so. To Harry, Molly Weasley was a mother. When he was in the Triwizard Tournament, she came to Hogwarts to cheer him on instead of his aunt and uncle. She always fussed over him and was constantly concerned and worried about him. Molly is a very capable and righteous witch. She is part of the "old crowd", a group of witches who are loyal to Albus Dumbledore. Molly is very strong, not just with the Daily Prophet reporters, who just want a good story about flying cars and she tells them to go away or she'll send a ghoul their way, or with her sons, who, even though they're taller than she is, are always in awe of her when she loses her temper, or with the people who are expecting Voldemort to rise again. Dumbledore had told her not to be a stupid housewife who only befriended people like Lockhart who only played dazzling tricks, but to meet people who could actually be friends and form alliances. Underestimating Molly Weasley might be a mistake. Molly, though a righteous witch, seems to be no less skilled in magic, and in the final installment single-handedly fought and killed Bellatrix, one of the leading Death Eaters, in order to protect Hermione, Ginny, and Luna and a couple of students who were going to come to their aid. Molly joined the Order of the Phoenix when Voldemort's power reared its ugly head for the second time. She was responsible for organizing 12 Grimmauld Place to make it more like a place for people to live. Molly cooked a lot, but she let everyone give her a hand helping out. While at Phoenix HQ, she was always pushy and ready to get into an argument, but this attitude might be explained by the fact that she reacted the way she did to Bogart in the living room cupboard. When Boggart is in front of her, her worst fear happens, and her family (even Harry and her third son Percy, who is already on bad terms with his family, and probably more people, like Hermione), lie lifeless, killed by Voldemort in this war (Order of the Phoenix, Chapter 9). Molly Weasley endured such worry and fear as this war against the Death Eaters heated up again. Mrs. Weasley was in pain when Bill was bitten by Fenrir Greyback during the Battle of the Towers. Mrs. Weasley embraces her future daughter-in-law after Fleur states that she will marry Bill despite the fact that Bill may be disfigured. She does not have the "pure-bloodedness" of Umbridge or Voldemort and the Death Eaters, and is willing to accept and love Harry, a half-blood, Hermione, a Muggle, and Fleur, who is of special creature (Meowth) descent.
