Rhythm stockings are a type of shiny stocking, but some of them aren't made for rhythmic movement, so they're made of different materials and knitted differently
Generally, the main features are that they're "completely transparent from the waist down" (to go with a one-piece rhythm outfit) and that they're very shiny.
But there are many different types of bright socks/rhythm socks...
Differences in seams
Pantyhose have a raised seam between the legs, and bright stockings are no exception.
Most bright stockings have a two or three centimeter wide reinforced weave on either side of the seam line (as is common in sheer pantyhose),
and some more sophisticated bright stockings have a cotton fabric pantyhose weave underneath.
But there are many different kinds of bright stockings/rhythmic stockings.
But in Japan, there is a kind of sheer stockings which are not reinforced with a thick weave or cotton pantyhose, and only have a seam line
You can see it in some movies and photos, and some more sophisticated racing girls wear this kind of stockings
But as far as I know, this kind of stockings are not produced in Taiwan (unless someone buys them from Japan)
Differences in material and thickness
General purpose of the stockings is to be used for the purpose of the stockings. p>
Generally used for rhythmic gymnastics and dance, stockings are usually thicker and more elastic than normal stockings.
But the thickness and elasticity of stockings vary, and some are particularly tight (like medical stockings).
There are also obvious differences in the smoothness of the touch, with some being very smooth and others a little rough.
Taiwan's Petens Rhythmic Bright Socks are a little rough to the touch, but they are shiny and stretchy.
The smoothness of the socks can lead to a different kind of luster,
Smooth socks have a thin, smooth luster, while thicker socks have a "big" luster.
As for the Japanese one-line socks mentioned earlier, from my observation,
These socks are smooth to the touch and have good elasticity,
the thickness is moderate and the luster is moderate,
These socks can be considered as the best.
On the other hand, some non-glossy stockings/rhythmic stockings have a special material that makes the glossy feeling very obvious,
but the thickness and elasticity are similar to that of ordinary stockings.
For example, Taiwan's "Crystal Silk Pantyhose", which are not completely transparent! But the leg shine is very strong.
Also, there are some fully transparent pantyhose that use Lycra, which also enhances the elasticity and luster, and can be slightly comparable to the bright stockings,
but the luster, elasticity and thickness, and service life of the orthodox bright stockings is still better.
