The Side Slide can be practiced using the following steps:
1. Start with the left foot.
2. Lift the heel of the left foot above the right foot, and the toe of the right foot is at 90 degrees,
3. Use the toe of the left foot as a support point, and stomp in a downward diagonal direction.
4. While stomping your right foot out in a diagonal downward direction, rotate your left foot, still on its toes, in place.
5. Rotate until your left foot is pointed forward, then switch feet.
