The history of Quanli Township

According to historical records, people with surnames such as Geng, Shen, Niu and Zhao settled here successively in the early Ming Dynasty. Because the village is located on flat land and is surrounded by mountains, it looks like it is in a circle, hence its name. Before 1943, Quanli Township was the seventh jurisdiction of Yishui County. In June of the same year, Yibei County was established and was called Wuhe District. In 1949, it came under the jurisdiction of Wuhe District of Juyi County. In September 1958, the Circle Commune was established. In April 1984, it was renamed Quanli Township.
