1. Original text
Wind and rain send spring home, and flying snow welcomes spring.
The cliff is already covered with hundreds of feet of ice, but there are still beautiful flowers and branches.
Qiao doesn’t fight for spring, she only repays it.
When the mountain flowers were in full bloom, she smiled among the bushes.
2. Translation?
The ups and downs have sent spring away, but the flying snow in the sky has ushered in spring again. The cliff is covered with hundreds of feet of sharp ice, but the plum blossoms are still blooming proudly and beautifully. Although the plum blossoms are beautiful, they do not compete with the peaches and plums in beauty. They just bring the news of spring. When the mountains and fields were full of flowers, she was smiling in the flowers

1. Creative background
Lu You loved plum blossoms all his life and used them as a spiritual carrier to sing his praises. Plum blossoms became a symbol of perseverance and unyielding image in his writings. It is not difficult to understand in connection with Lu You's life. The plum blossoms in the poem are a reflection of the author himself. Lu You's life was full of ups and downs. He was born in the seventh year of Emperor Huizong of the Song Dynasty (1125), at a time when the Northern Song Dynasty was on the verge of collapse and the Jin Dynasty was looking forward to it.
Not long after, his family began a turbulent escape career. "As a child, he avoided the Hu soldiers to death" was a portrayal of that time, which also planted the seeds of patriotism deep in his young heart. Although Lu You's patriotic enthusiasm was severely hit, his patriotic ambitions remain unswerving. This is fully reflected in his poetry.
It is not difficult to understand that his "Bu Suanzi: Ode to Plum Blossoms" is the representative of the plum blossoms. The plum blossoms that "fall into mud and grind into dust, only the fragrance remains the same" are the poet's lifelong response to the evil forces. It is an image portrayal of the unremitting spirit of struggle and the character of unswerving ideals.
2. Appreciation of Works
The poet uses objects as metaphors for people and expresses his aspirations through objects. He cleverly uses plum blossoms that have been battered and fragrant with pollen to describe himself as a person who, despite his ups and downs throughout his life, will never be the same. Kitsch's loyalty is just like what he wrote in a poem about plum blossoms: "It's out of date and drifts away, and I feel ashamed of Xiangdong Jun and feel more pity for me."
With his full patriotic enthusiasm, Lu You composed patriotic poems one after another, inspiring and motivating generations of people. It can be said that "the temples have been made of snow for many years, and the heart is like a pill until death."
