What is the meaning of "Raining on the Banana" and where does it come from?

Chinese Han Chinese folk instrumental music. The sheet music was first published in 1921 in the "String Songs" compiled by Qiu Heyou, and later adapted by Pan Yongzhang to become a representative piece of Guangdong music. At the beginning of the piece, a smooth and bright melody expresses people's joy, followed by short phrases with staccato rhythms and parallel phrases arranged to urge each other on, with short breaks, like the sound of rain hitting a banana, which is very interesting in the southern country, and finally a passionate Allegro passage. The first recording was made by three musicians, including Lui Man-shing, in a simple and fresh style. The second recording, played by the Greater China Cantonese Orchestra, had Western instruments added, and in the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China, the delegation of the Central and South China Region, during the National Folk Music and Dance Concert, added flutes and bells and other musical instruments to the piece, and the music performance was enthusiastic and full of vitality. In the early 50's, the Guangdong delegation performed "Raining Bananas" in the National Folk Music and Dance Festival, which was full of passion and vitality due to the addition of flutes and bells. Later on, it was rearranged many times with multiple voices and some new composing techniques, which made the tone more wonderful and interesting.
