Baoding City, Hebei Province has five districts, namely Jingxiu District, Lianchi District, Mancheng District, Qingyuan District and Xushui District. Baoding, known as Shanggu, Baozhou and Fu Bao in ancient times, is also called Boot City because it is like a boot. It is a prefecture-level city under the jurisdiction of Hebei Province, located in the middle of Hebei Province, at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain. It is the central city of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and a part of China (Hebei) Pilot Free Trade Zone. Baoding is located in the middle of Hebei Province, at the eastern foot of Taihang Mountain, and in the west of Jizhong Plain, between 38/kloc-0'-40 00' north latitude and 0/13 40'-1/6 20' east longitude. It connects Beijing and Zhangjiakou in the north, Langfang and Cangzhou in the east, Hengshui in the south and Shanxi Province in the west. The central city is 0/40km away from Beijing/KLOC-0 in the north and 0/45km away from Tianjin/KLOC-0 in the east, forming a tripartite confrontation with Beijing and Tianjin.
