Yuexiu Park Travel Notes Composition

It's been the end of the year. Those who should go to work, those who should go to school, everything around them has begun to enter the normal rhythm of work and life. For me, looking back on the Spring Festival holiday in 212, the most unforgettable thing is to visit the Lantern Festival in Yuexiu Park.

The 15th day of the first month of the lunar calendar in the Year of the Loong is a traditional Valentine's Day in China. It seems that the weather is cloudy instead of rainy. Our family of three finished dinner early and took bus No.58 to Yuexiu Park. At that time, it was still bright, but the gate of the park was already crowded, and many people were waiting in line to buy tickets. On several big banyan trees outside the door, there are strings of red lanterns hanging high, and two golden columns circled by red golden dragons are erected on both sides of the gate. Just above the gate is a big dragon head with a pair of beautiful phoenixes on both sides, which means that dragons and phoenixes are auspicious. There is a pair of Spring Festival couplets on the door: Xianglongteng Prosperity, Carp Leaping to Tianmen, which just points out the theme of this Lantern Festival. The gate of Yuexiu Park is richly decorated, auspicious and festive, filled with a strong festive atmosphere.

When you enter the square with a small front entrance, a huge gourd vase-shaped lantern is standing in front of you. It is illuminated with purple light, and the upper and lower bottles are painted with double dragons' playing beads. Several groups of beautiful Xiantao lighting are cleverly set nearby, which symbolizes good luck and happiness. It also reminds people of the flat peach festival of the Queen Mother and the fairy story that the Monkey King made a scene in the Heavenly Palace. We first toured from the left, passed a stone arch bridge, and stood on it. Someone was rowing under the bridge and looked at the lake. On the water, there were some light groups of lotus, goldfish, carp and golden dragon, which were intertwined with the water. It was very psychedelic. Lanterns are hung on two rows of trees along the lakeside road, which are round, square, gourd-shaped, hexagonal and so on. Some of them write calligraphy, some draw pictures and some write riddles. Along the way, there are many animal-shaped lighting, such as insects in flowers and grass, ladybugs, beetles, big green worms, etc., pandas and goats in bamboo bushes, and phoenix, peacock and other light groups on the lawn, which can especially attract children's curious eyes. There is a group of lighting for the zodiac, which attracted many tourists to stop and take pictures as a souvenir. It is estimated that many people took the opportunity to take a photo with their own zodiac lighting. This section of the road is full of tourists and very crowded, but tourists can understand each other's courtesy, which does not affect everyone's happy holiday mood. There are also some light groups with good omen, such as the blessing of the god of wealth, and being the best, etc., and people who like it compete to take pictures as a souvenir. What I like better is the moonlight lantern group on the spring river, which uses shadow play to make the modeling characters on the stage move. The fairy elephant is playing musical instruments and the flying elephant is dancing. The whole scene is accompanied by music and full of poetry and painting.

I feel that the most distinctive features of this light show are the dragon ding and the 1-meter long dragon made of blue and white porcelain. Anyone who looks at it will feel very shocked. They are carefully designed and made of bowls, plates, spoons and chopsticks made of about 6, pieces of blue and white porcelain, and the lamps are cleverly embedded in them. That Long Ding is very atmospheric, solemn, and particularly weighty. According to the introduction of some tourists on the spot, part of its structure is modeled after Zhang Heng's seismograph. There is also the hundred-meter porcelain dragon after the light is turned on, which seems to come from the mythical white jade dragon swimming in the night sea, lifelike, and the faucet that is lifted high is just facing the main gate of the park, turning rhythmically. The two longan are big, very bright and eye-catching. This porcelain dragon attracted countless tourists to take pictures, which made people clap their hands and praise.

We walked around for a while, and it took us an hour and a half to walk around, feeling a little tired. We went back to the main gate and were ready to leave. At this time, more people came to visit and watch the lights. It is estimated that during the peak period, there were a sea of people inside and outside the brightly lit gate, and people were crowded. We could not help but feel glad that we came early. Of course, such a beautiful light show really makes people linger and reluctant to part.

This year's Lantern Festival is over, leaving beautiful memories. I naturally have some expectations in my heart. I hope the Lantern Festival next year will be more exciting! < pack up
