1. To cut off the circuit, please remove the corresponding fuse or open the corresponding circuit breaker. In addition, you can also operate the main switch to cut off the main power supply at home.
2. Remove the original lamp from the ceiling. Most lamps are fixed on the ceiling with bolts or screws, and the connection can be disconnected after the cover plate is removed.
3. Lower the lamp and disconnect the wire. Mark each wire with masking tape for future identification.
4. Please refer to the manufacturer's instructions on the color coding of ceiling fan wiring and recommended installation steps. In most families, there are two wires in the circuit and three wires in the lamp. Connect the black wire to the black wire and the white wire to the white wire, and then connect the remaining ground wires (bare wire or green wire) to the metal junction box or other locations suggested by the manufacturer. Connect with the connecting nut, and check whether it is firm after connection.
5. Check the wiring, refer to the manufacturer's instructions, and then carefully push all wires into the junction box (metal box or plastic box for electrical connection).
6. Connect the ceiling fan to the junction box or hook according to the manufacturer's instructions.
7. If an electric light is installed under the fan, please make sure that the two components belong to the same brand and are designed to work together (this will make the installation process much easier). Remove the bottom cover from the fan unit, then pull out the ends of all loose wires and connect them according to the manufacturer's instructions. Usually it means that the black line is connected with the black line, the white line is connected with the white line, and the grounding line is connected with the grounding line.
8. Re-energize the circuit and test the system.
