The difference between pastoral cats and string cats in China

Chinese Garden Cat and String Cat are common domestic cat breeds in China. They have many similarities, but there are also some differences.

First of all, China pastoral cats are relatively strong, with brown, gray and other dark colors, oval eyes, quick movements and a little wildness. The string cat is slender, colorful, round-eyed and lively but docile.

Secondly, the Chinese pastoral cat is one of the traditional domestic cat breeds in China, with a long history and profound cultural heritage. After several generations of cultivation, its pedigree has been relatively stable. However, string cats are homeless stray cats with no specific pedigree, and most of them appear in the streets and lanes or in some remote rural areas. Therefore, the health and quality of rural cats in China are more secure, while string cats are prone to some health problems.

Finally, China rural cats are generally kept indoors, which is very suitable for families as companion pets. However, because of their rich life experience, string cats are better at living outdoors and are more suitable for raising in rural areas or urban families with certain courtyards.

Generally speaking, China pastoral cats and string cats have their own uniqueness, and breeders need to choose their own cat species according to their own conditions and needs. No matter which one you choose, you need reasonable feeding and care, and maintain their health and happy life through healthy feeding, regular vaccination, moderate exercise and regular deworming.
