Leaders, experts and scholars in the fields of health care, agricultural environmental protection, food safety, industrial economy, public management, finance and insurance, and policy research related to the development of healthy China witnessed the inaugural meeting of the Healthy China Promotion Committee. At the meeting, the leaders of relevant ministries and commissions announced the formal establishment of the Committee, appointed Comrade Fan as the chairman, Comrade as the executive deputy director, Zhang Boli, He Jie, Ge Junbo, Wang Fan and Ding as the deputy directors, appointed Comrade Wang Shuqiang as the secretary-general, and Wang Yang, Mao, Zhang Jian as the deputy secretary-general, and issued letters of appointment. Leaders of central state organs, relevant ministries and commissions, local governments, and expert representatives in the fields of medical and health care, food and drug safety, environmental protection, etc. conducted research and discussion and ideological collision around the relevant work of the Committee. Fan, the chairman, made a keynote speech at the meeting, and the executive vice-chairman signed cooperation agreements with Hebei District People's Government, Ningbo Meishan Logistics Industry Cluster Management Committee and Jining Science and Technology Association respectively. Finally, Comrade Wang Shuqiang, the first Secretary-General of the Committee, made a work planning report.
It is reported that the "Healthy China Promotion Committee" established on the basis of Xinhuanet was established under the care and guidance of the central state organs and relevant ministries and commissions to implement the policy requirements of the "Healthy China 2030" planning outline and promote the smooth realization of the planning objectives of healthy China. Xinhuanet's "Healthy China Promotion Committee" will become an important promoter of healthy China construction with the joint efforts of all parties. The preparatory work of the Committee was officially launched in May 20 17, and more than 300 senior professional researchers from various ministries, provinces and cities in the fields of policy, industry, academia, research and application were gathered.
