The State Food and Drug Administration of the United States issued the Notice on Strengthening the Supervision and Management of Catering Service Environmental Sanitation, requiring local food and drug supervision departments to strengthen the management of catering service environmental sanitation, implement the relevant provisions of the Food Safety Law, and ensure the safety of people's catering consumption. If the supervision, inspection or spot check finds that the restaurant is in violation of regulations, the catering service shall be supervised, and rectification shall be provided and severely punished according to law.

Those who have been sentenced to fixed-term imprisonment or above for food safety crimes shall not engage in food production and operation for life, nor shall they serve as food safety managers in food production and operation enterprises.
