The third week of May is National Nutrition Week every year.

The National Nutrition Week was initiated and organized by the National Nutrition Week Office of China Nutrition Society in collaboration with the Institute of Nutrition and Health of China CDC, the Institute of Food and Nutrition Development of the Ministry of Agriculture and the Institute of Nutrition Science of Shanghai Academy of Biological Sciences of China Academy of Sciences.

The National Nutrition Week was established to publicize the concept of nutrition and health and improve the nutrition and health status of residents, focusing on nutrition education and knowledge dissemination activities, which shows that all departments and circles in the country attach importance to its investment.
