First, the types of fecal color
1, oily stool: the stool is black, thin, sticky and shiny, and looks like asphalt. The color of this stool is caused by the fact that red blood cells are digested and destroyed by gastrointestinal fluids, and become heme, leaf lymph and iron sulfide, which stimulates the small intestine to secrete too much mucus. This situation is more common in gastrointestinal bleeding.
2, white clay-like stool: If the stool color is "white clay-like", it may be jaundice or stones, tumors, roundworms. These diseases will cause biliary obstruction, reduce or lack bilirubin entering the intestine, and thus lead to a corresponding reduction or lack of fecal bile.
3, black stool: sometimes because of eating pig blood, or eating drugs that may pull black stool. If not, it may be upper gastrointestinal bleeding, usually peptic ulcer. In addition, gastritis, liver cirrhosis, esophageal, gastric varices rupture, gastric cancer and so on. It can also cause upper gastrointestinal bleeding.
Second, the color of healthy feces
Healthy feces are mostly yellow or yellowish brown in color. The color of feces is not always the same, it will change with the change of diet, and the color will also change. If you eat animal blood, such as duck blood, sheep blood or traditional Chinese medicine, the color of feces will turn black.
Some people defecate a lot, but if the quality is good, it is because the gastrointestinal peristalsis is faster. This is normal if there is no abdominal pain or swelling. Our body will tell us about our physical condition from all aspects, and if it is found in time, we can prevent it before it happens.
